I saw Ted do this live at Cobo Hall / Detroit, Mi. in 68 or 69 and he came down on a wire from the ceiling playing Scottish Tea at the time Ted was like the only guitarist on the scene who could even tune a guitar , seriously
IN India in 1970 as a young Die hard Music lover this song was sung by By Jangoo Yazder and the name of the Group Was Riot Squad. Yes 1970s Lot of things happened in India GPS Like Velvet Fogg and Late Nandu Bhende the singer who also became famous in Jesus Christ Super Star .
This is acid rock defined, but you don't need the acid to trip, the music alone can send you on your way. Been listening to this music since it came out, love it.
I still can't believe that, as a young boy hearing this, it was always non-words I thought that line to be. Fast forward a few years, and then I was left with the impression that they were words: In The Garden Of Evil [Not sure if it was Home Improvement (the awesome Halloween episode) that put this in my head or something else]. Just to find out that my kid ears were always right (I had a bad habit of listening to music and not learning the bands or titles as a kid) and they weren't words. I can't help but laugh about it now.
I remember each member of the group had a short bio on the album cover, and the two points I remember was that Bushy and Brann were described as nomads and were only 17 years old. For some reason, Ingle left the group after just a couple of albums. A little trivia about Lee Dorman: he was a contestant on the Dating Game, and he got picked by the woman. They've all passed now except Ingle.
Let me just say that the Gods were looking down at this band when they came up with this song! The greatest example of 60’s psychedelia there is! It never gets old and never stops getting you excited when you play it! Takes you back to a simpler time when things were so much fun! It’s a time you had to be there to understand what it was all about and it will never be forgotten or will never happen again! Everything was just right to set off a chain of events like this song!

Randy! This is Rick James on vocals, not Rick Mathews! Rick James was the lead vocalist for The Mynah Birds. This band also featured Bruce Palmer on bass guitar 🎸 and Neil Young, only in the very beginning, on rythmn and lead 🎸 guitar. Rest in peace my precious, lovely Bruce Palmer!
