One question: what time, in a case with an average skilled crossbowman, is necessary to arm, load, and shoot with this crossbow, notably-with this mechanism. I mean: how many arrows can be shot, per minute. Thank you
I just got the viper 415 .it has the range master 100. After setting eye relief and sighting in I shot out to 70 yards in 10 yard increments hitting bullseye each shot I'm impressed with the scope and the viper 415...don't think I will ever shot past 70 yards but will test out to 100 as this scope is rated for that distance......thanks 10 pt for what you do.
I would not waste my money on bowmar products. Way over priced and junk. They only care about money. They are known shady people. Don't be that fanboy!!!
Hi Al I just bought a Excalibur suppressor extreme and I would like a spare string for it. But I can’t find anywhere what one I need. Any help would be appreciated Thank you
Bought 2 of these xbows and had to return them both. Both had serious quality control problems 1st one came woth warranty sticker halfway off and string stops cross threaded. Second one had cams out of line and the acu draw system would unravel itself mid cock if you let go.... stay away from this garbage.
I got mine last week shot it about 20 times seems to be working great. Was looking at the ravin r10 my girlfriend dad has the r10 I really like that just didn’t want to spend the extra $ on the ravin.
I feel like the comparison part of picking a crossbow broadhead is super extensive. I see so many videos on good broadheads but I'm just not sure what to use with my high power crossbow. Super torn between fixed heads and rear deploy broadheads like the Evo x.
These numbers are pretty consistent from what I've seen out of this xbow. 392-395 fps. 400gr arrow is 370-373 fps. Nobody is using a 350gr in the field. Excalibur should rate their xbows with a 400gr, instead of a 350gr for real use applications. I own 6 Excaliburs, not including my wife's, & I'll stick with two favorites, my Bulldog 400 & Matrix 380 have been absolutely awesome. My wife has a Matrix 355 that she loves.
Thank you. I finally figured it out with my new Venom S415 from Bass Pro, because other videos don't show a close up of the thumb on the correct latch, and the crank forward until it releases part.
What broadheads would you all recommend for this bow ? I have muzzy hdx , and g5 Megameat broadheads but also wanna make sure they are good for this crossbow.
Just got one in moss green. Man, that bad boy is fast. I have an X-Sight-4K Pro on it at present, but am going to see if the Oracle X I have coming will drop some weight on it.
Bow came to my door with a nick in the string. After 5 shots it worsened. Customer service told me to buy another string. Guess $1000 dosent get you far. Also I'm a registered long time customer. Scope has plastic floating inside it. There is better options for less of your hard earned money
Great demonstration. I just got the TX440 today, and decided to just watch this one more time to make sure I was doing it correctly. 👍 BTW, this thing is FAST. I'm getting an average of 416 fps with 540 grains total weight.
You just can't shoot more than 1 Bolt at one dot without running very high risk of hitting the other Bolt . Unless of course if you like replacing bolts every session of shooting !
I'm thinking about building an apparatus that functions as a stand/cocker/de-cocker but I'm not sure if it's going to cock 200lbs with the stirrup , pistol grip , and/or butt/stock and still be reasonably light as the apparatus could also be mounted to the crossbow but if it's not light then I might have to keep it at the truck while I'm hunting or at my training area (home) .
