How do u get someone pass the opening door after u shoot the enemies to start the dungeon? Because the wall doesn't come down until u r done with that first part

Most destiny speedruns involve the majority of players doing the encounter while having 1+ player going out of bounds to either hit triggers to progress or straight up pull to the next encounter, while I don’t know this runs routing, you can often see on the minimap one fireteam member just way past the current playable area.
did something change with the first skip? i remember being able to pull to ecthar less than a minute after entrance was finished, but this was a year ago so idk
