I saw this episode as a young teenager during a pretty dark time for my family. All these years later I still close my eyes sometimes when it’s stressful, and I tell myself this. And it, works.
My mother and I are getting ready to move 400 miles to a completely new area and have been plagued with problems this entire year trying to make it happen. We move in 5 days, she has covid and I'm coming down with it. Thank god this is on youtube because we have never needed the wisdom of the Therapy Buddy more.
My partner and I have been quoting Therapy Buddy ever since we saw this show. This guy should have been lauded, not castigated. Society needs more Therapy Buddies, and fewer Sharks! ;-)
I remember this product being in the ads for a show as a joke/bad product. Considering it's the ONLY product I remember from this show and I definitely think if he sold it today there'd be a market for it.
I dnt care what the haters say. this doll if it were sold in stores, i'd buy it. it has a happy face and a positive message. I dont think a child would b scared.
And now I'm going to have nightmares about a pregnant baby-looking blue thing chasing me through a dark forest while repeating in a rasping voice, "Everything, is, going to be, alright." before it finally catches and devoured me. Muffling my screams in it's plush throat before squeezing the life out of me all the while, still repeating, "Everything, is, going to be, alright."
that last guy is such a douchebag! maybe somewhere there's a child out there without any parents or friends, alone in society. He or she would love to have a toy like this!! F-U Sir (whoever he is!)
