Great times, 1990 on a reg t5 cut down back end. Could get away with anything them days, 10 hours ride home hungover, anyone got the video, jonescbrian71@gmail.com
This fix worked for me, and there's no need to replace the cable as many forums will tell you. I couldn't see how to get the heater controls out though, so just drilled the hole without removing them. Needed an extra-long 4mm drill bit, but has to be simpler than disconnecting everything.
How freaking weird... I revisited that Rob Beiling video you had uploaded... then decided to check your other stuff out... I have just been given an SAS fusion delta wing slope glider!! And I have have been looking at setting elevons up.. even though mine have been done... My name is Ian based is south Devon. Spooky!!
Ahh,the days when we could cut the back end off a lambretta, rally it till she heat seized, buy another for £150,.remember when you'd go out of your way for a GP or anything but another bloody LI 150..as long as it wasn't a Starstream or Vega, there was limits even then,.Although I bought a Heinkel Tourist, from Pop Fisher in Peterborough, ugly as sin but got me to the Isle of Wight,.
William Tomlinson so true, I don't get to surf too much these days but avoid many places I used to surf like Lynmouth because I really can't be bothered with the crowd, the place in this video I've not been to in year's but used to surf all the time never too bad for crowds but unfortunately not very good surf that often so not really worth travelling to if you live at a more popular spot. I live in somerset so have to travel any way so worth a look if I'm going that way any how 😉
Had to change the music on this film (even though I had full permission of the band and management when I first made the film) as it would no longer play but I think the new soundtrack from the youtube library actually works as well if not better than the original
I remember that Oxbow but I wasn't in it. I was in all the early BLU contests and all the other English and British nationals. I think the first BLU one was at Perrenproth and also all the EPSA contests at Lacanau and of course the once awesome Biarritz surf festival. Fond memories indeed.
Hi I remember the name but don't think I got any footage of you but there might be something in one of my comp vids I done one of the first Oxbow (with Nat Young and Joel Tudar) and I done a Chapter one 1997 I think so if you competed there might be some footage of you
Hah what a Gem. I used to compete with Rob,Si and Butler can't believe this beauty has turned up. Me and Butler were in the Cornish Surf team together and I used to surf with Rob loads at Bantham . All the best guys, Regards Chris Harding
@Pagra101 well it does of coarse have a real name but this is the name that was featured in a magazine to try to keep it from what its like today. Prehaps I shouldn't put vid of the place on here but the damage has already been done. Might even have a wave there tommorrow??
