I like that star building, especially the wooden inlays on the top. And it looks big enough to fit all benches within. I have build my second base on top of a rock nearby a small lake in the western rain forrest. It is build kinda random within the terrain with several floors for different topics. Sadly my workshop building turns out a bit small though it was planed largely at relocation time. I have to move and rearrange for each new thing and it's getting narrow more and more. There are too many benches and bench addons in this game. :D But I'm not sure whether I want to relocate my base once more. Last relocation took me about one week with far less things to move. Edit: I forgot: Fly save! 😁
Such a spoiled kid take. I liked the game because of the character customization and the graphics. It's far from "the worst game." And maybe you should've just turned auto battle off? I guess you didn't realize you could do that?
Hello. Nice and i see that the foto i pass you helped. Btw. I know you do not want wall for fortifying the base. But wend they attack they rip you. Lol i seen a friend playing this game build in the same location in official server. And was wiped out bc he thought that the river will protect him. And they enemy can shoot from the mountains to. So keep that in mind. They can use artillery from the mountainside
sovereign man, i have to tell you, the fact that you never use your hammer super armor F ability or ever try to perfect block drives me nuts lol, I watch you getting smashed and stunned but you never seem to try to do the same to them lol, also you don't utilize the lock on feature, but I still enjoy watching your vids man good work. btw bro, when you're observing your npc's, if you just cursor over the idle/following icon in your npc list you can see all of their stats with colors for higher proficiencies, orange for high, red for 120+ without having to open all their tabs, just a faster way to scan.
@@SovereignRPG We're closing in to late game. Doom Mammoth and Griffin are the ones we haven't defeated yet apart from the final boss. This base let us travel quickly throughout the whole map before the recent update with the portals. I'd say if you just got to Iron this is the best spot since there's a close iron and coal mine there. 👌🏻
Thanks for the plug ... I actaully like how you changed it. It even allows you to make multiple stars and connect them on the separate arms you made. Might have to steal that idea back :-) I also like the idea of having every crafting setup in it's own arm.
Yoo this is very much like the base ive got, i actually went out further, basically the whole area of the bonfire, and i added the stone barriers as the outside walls, then made this design on the inside, also have a 3 story 4x4 farm setup inside, pretty fun build with lots of space! Nice video!
@@SovereignRPG well its like 4 farm plots, then u raise up 2x pillars on each corner, then you add floors for more plots. It didnt work when i went only 1 wall length up, but its working with 2 walls, idk lol weird mechanic
your design looks pretty cool but it does seem pretty dark inside, though. also, I'd really like to see your next video to be a continuation and not a "and now paint the rest of the picture" kind of deal
My wife said "Hey look it's you" because I am always building things like that, especially with the roof. That was really cool though. It started off as the star base but as you added the roof it became the snowflake base. I need to build this up north now.
You asked what was in the Holy Ruins near your waterfall base. I didn't see anyone answer below, but that is where the Torch of Eternity mask is obtained. It's an underground bandit camp + mechanical dungeon all in one. Pretty fun killing your way through there. Take one high level & well equipped tribesman to help divide the attention (plus some acid for the mechs) and you can easily clear it in bronze.
The building was fun to watch. Probavly my favourite video from you so far. Do you use a special method/page, etc to check which pieces fit together? I wish the wood floor pieces didn't gave the log beams. I wish they were more flat.
Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed it! When I build I generally have a foundation plan. Then I just wing it as I go. Using some of the methods Ive figured out and just add along as I go. Ive never really planned out a full build before I find some of my favorite builds are completely random.
In that area the best place late game to build for me is on a large flat rock next to an elite bear lair, that rock is from the portal to the left in the direction of the Flint Camp, building on that rock gives you incredible defense against raids and a beautiful view. And I say late game because things like wood, stone, clay are easier to get in the jungle and it is better to collect them there but for other things you can raid the Flint Camp regularly
If you're struggling with weight, you can always just up the capacity in the menu settings :) The game is catered to many people carrying stuff. So upping the capacity in single player makes sense :)
I have a base above water and found one of my workers under water today. Not sure if it's safe at this point to build over water? With all the teleports around and the way the personal portal works now..... It doesn't matter where your base is. P.s. I share your frustration, it IS gotten harder to fight npc's. People complained about npc's dodging too much so they made them block more instead to frustrate people even more. At this moment I play on a server with more easy settings so I don't need to be bothered by these changes.
Welp it did happened, and you did not follow you one advice, lol old video of building: ..."the IA have problem wend you places things on they path, so make sure to leave one floor block free for them to not get stuck between any workbench or boxes"... That's was your advice and you did the opposite on that base lol. I hope you get more and better that the ones you got today. Keep it up man. Don't let it take you down.
Are you playing on real single player mode.. Or do you have a server that you use for single player? I've seen other people complain about this in their Discord. Just wonder if it might be connected to the "Server single player"-thing. And...that's super annoying that happened. You're right to be frustrated.
CHOSEN ONE Talent is a must when exploring Dungeons or Camps late game, that talent raise the Probability of getting rare items +50%., Chosen talent is a talent for figthers(Guardians, Warriors,Hunters) , on crafters is useless. However to use its effect the tribeman with that talent must be under your Control
If you play on a private server, the most efficient way to recruit crafters is to build a post next to the Flint Camp in the jungle, place some beds, boxes with food and drinks and surround the place with spikes and other basic defenses, or place a statue of God so that the enemies will not appear inside that post . Raid the camp kidnap as much as you want , place the tribesmen on beds or the floor inside the post, log out to the main game menu, log in and the Flint camp should be full of tribesmen again
How have you raised the clan member cap sovereign? For some reason the more tribesmen you use in boss fights the more the bosses scale. Makes no sense to me as a solo player.
One of two things happened to you: your tribesmen died from hunger or thirst while you were offline or there was an error loading your local files, in the case of the second what you can do is try to open >C:\Users\My Documents\AppData\Local\WS\Saved\Logs Here you will find all your recent logs, WS.log is the most recent and among those named WS-backup will be your login before losing your tribesmen, make a copy of the WS.log, on your desktop ,delete the original and rename the WS-backup where your tribesmen were alive as WS.log . I hope this works for you
To tame jaguar you will need medium trap and meat. Scan for footprint,interact with at least 6 footprint to get the mother to spawn. Stalk the mother using scanner.
