You say you are trying to build a review channel. This what I look for in a review: The difficulty level. Maybe a comparison such as if you can do X trick, then you can do this one; or if you find this type of sleight difficult, then you'll have trouble with this one. The angles, as well as the best performance types for the trick. For instance, I hate tricks that only look good from a certain angle. Useless for closeup magic. If it uses magnets, loops, thread, diy, apps, etc. Sometimes it's fun to make stuff, sometimes it isn't. Sometimes magnets lead to cool tricks, but sometimes it feels like a cop-out for that to be the method. I always feel cheated when I learn that magnets are the method, especially when a trailer edits out the sound of the magnet being used. Dead give away. Is it presented well? If I speak English with an American accent, I might find it difficult to understand a foreign magician without subtitles. If the audio is lousy, that is a problem. If the video quality looks like it was filmed with a potato, then that's no good. If the magician doesn't show multiple angles or doesn't do a good job showing how the trick is performed, or if they make assumptions about their audience and assume that they understand a certain principle, etc. If there are skills or tricks you need to have learned or be familiar with in order to perform the trick. Instant reset? Takes a little while, how does it work? How practical is the magic? Quality of the material. Quality of the magic. Is it worth the price? Is there anything You'd change, or if you have a recommendation for how to perform this or an adjustment to it.
I work in a school for special needs so I often perform for them or the teachers or other staff! In those cases we need to have the accord of the school for filming, the student, and the parents which complicates things a bit! And apart from that, when I usually do something quick outside that setting I dont pull out the camera except if its a parlor or stage show to film my performance! 😊

It is exactly that! You do not want to be there “melting” the object for 1min. A few seconds for them to go like “ wait what is happening”! Happy that you enjoy the reviews!

I must say that I would not recommend doing it with the empty box, it is less reliable. regarding if it is inspectable or not, I have never said to give it to inspect, it is not necessary. But I always give the spectator before performing to shuffle the cards and put them in the box, NOBODY, I repeat , NOBODY noticed anything before performing the effect. Obviously I am not going to give the box to the spectators after the trick, why would I do this? Said that, I appreciate a lot your effor. Any doubt, here you have me. Sorry for my poor English.
Good job on the review! You emphasized "always the same outcome" multiple times. But you also said that with some effort (change out cards/gimmicks) a performer could CHANGE the outcome. You also said "not handy to change outcome if table hopping". I would NOT be doing as tablehopping... I would be looking to modify the outcome occasionally if performing at future gatherings with my friends or family. Plenty of time between shows to make changes. How difficult would that be to accomplish? Thanks!

It uses watch batteries for the device! In terms of magnets for a bill, you would have to test it out a bit - they do tell you exactly in the turorial!
There is a small “mistake” in the performance that I have noticed post-production! In normal performance that will not happen don’t worry! Even if it does, some people may not even notice as some of you have probably have not either without rewinding due to this comment :)

I watched the entire download and enjoyed all of it. I was disappointed cause I never seen where Peter told or showed us the brand of calculator he bought. They said they would do a close up but I either missed it or they forgot too. Where is it shown? Or what is the brand of the calculator?
I am not sure of the exact brand but I have found one at the dollarstore that looks exactly the same and works the same! I think as long as its a scientific one you will be golden!
This looks great! The sweet spot for mentalism for me is when you are using sure fire methods with cheap, easy to replace props. Propless is cool but I struggle with consistency, high powered gimmicks are cool but I don’t always have them on me. This is great. Thanks for the review!

The best way to explain is that its two fold: 1- The chosen method of reveal (in my case the dots) is better left as is - which means that you can change it if you want, but you would have to play around with the gimmick a bit (which I wont do) 2- What is revealed (playing card, name, location, etc) can be changed and handed out every single performance In summary, the method of reveal is a one time choice except if you want to play around the gimmick abit, whereas the end reveal is fully adaptable with 0 DIY and restrictions! I don’t usually talk methods but there are no magnets whatsoever involved in how this works or constructed! The surface I used is just very glossy so the deck slips on it. The methods is completely different - there is nothing under any tops or attraction between the deck and an object hidden anywhere! 😊
It seems too obvious to me and I'm just a layperson who performs to friends and family. The magician picks up the box from the ends, whilst the spectator is told to pick it up from the sides. I think people would clock on to that.
I paid £30 for this product and it is absolute rubbish. It only works on a glass surface and you can clearly see the gimmick. DO NOT waste your money on this item..!!
I think another negative is that if the spectator pulls too hard it can break easily. Even repairing it is a hassle afterwards. I’ve had to purchase a second
