Lovely plant. Though the length of the flower stalk will mean it takes up a lot of space. So sadly can't fit it. Thank you for sharing. Good luck with growing your plants and getting new ones!
The green orchid looks like a magician or wizard! Amazing form and yes there’s some orchids with distinct scent. Wow! ❤♥️♥️♥️🌱👏🏻👏🏻♥️♥️♥️ #orchid #orchidcare #repottingorchids #orchidrepotting #wateringorchid #tolumnia #orchids

great terrestrial. Hard to believe it goes completely dormant over winter to then grow so big over summer only. Thanks for showing. And the tolumnia, what a sight. Amazing.
@@YnseSchaap it seems to be a strong plant. I have 3( i think) other Prosthechea ( whatever) that are not that strong. I they go " down" its a loooong recovery to get them back.
@@littleorchids5674 I have a small yellow one it just had a repot and so far it's doing ok, the Black Comet has been split and mounted and it already gripped the mount and is plumping up
O so great you did think about me 🎉 that Miltonia is beautiful! And good to see you do enjoy semi hydroponic as well! ❤ you have a wonderful collection.
How do you grow it? I change the moss at least once a year, so it don't turn acidic. And I don't let it dry out for long, when it whinter rest. My humidity is 70%+ most of the time.
That color change comes from all the different variety's they mix to get one specific color and most people that buy them never get them to rebloom, they just buy new ones, so they never have our problems
The one i have ( Adwa ph meter), i do 1 time a month. And when I have an idea it don't show correct. Also it's not one of the cheap china things. I use calibration fluid 7,0 and 4,0 + i put some special fluid to keep it in.
Nicely re-potted, thanks for sharing. I'd be interested to know if the cocoa fibre would do well in this type of mix. Please update in few months. Thanks and happy growing.
Odonto's can grow really well on a mount I had a Jungle Monarch on a mount for years and it was big. CauloCattleya is an easy one to grow but when it gets stressed it will go down in record time and it takes forever to get it back. I can't get my Gastrochillus to grow but it won't die either 😁Your keikies are doing great, the Phal Equstris has a new leaf end both Tolumnia's are putting out new roots (Variegata even new growth) That Nobilé is a Springdream Apollon the one I have isn't although it looks like it.
Gastrochilus need to grow at humidity 70%+ thats why I have it in a small terrarium, it must not be to moist either, the Tolumnia variagata grow like crazy if it like the condition.
@@littleorchids5674 I have a humidity of 70 to 85 % so that isn't the problem, I just took it of a mount and back in a pot (aquarium pot with big bark) I need to remount the Tolumnia to keep it on the mount 😁
At this time of the year ( winter ) i have around 21-22°C at day and 18 at night. Not really cold enough for winter resting Densrobiums, so those that need that I move to a colder place at night.
I found out about Wubben just yesterday. I wanted to order some plants and every orchid they had was "out of stock" it was only when I looked at the home page that I saw they were closed for ever. Very sad, I think it was the largest and oldest in Holland
Ofc. Its sad, but he was an very old man. I was there some years ago, and alredy there you could see, it maybe was abit to much for him. Most of the plants wasn't that healthy.
I have not noticed a fragrance yet. I always take them out of that very dense media they are pottet in. But first after flowers are gone and they have a new growth startet, unless its an emergency. Thank you for visiting my channel 😊
Such a joy : thank you for inviting us to view your Christmas decorations. Keith has got all our boxes ready, so that we can decorate our home. I'll make a video to share with you ☃️
