Based on what I have seen & and experienced, most ppl who had grown up without making many friends are often forced to fend for themselves, hence had to be strong in the mind so they can develop a thick-skin in that aspect. This also looks into how we respond to changes. It is easy to let life control them because of a hand they were dealt out. But as long as they have the courage to control how to respond to them & make the best of it, then they can dictate their own fate in that aspect.
