I saw frankie loads ov times im the east end back in the early 90s he was makeing a few bob telling his storys he was only a small little man but his eyes were evil.
Thanks for sharing this. A very interesting man and full of stories. Met him a few times, first time was at a charity event which i was working a part of. We had a natter and that was that. Next one was at a similiar event and i heard his voice; "f'kin hell not you again?!" And with a huge smile he comes over and shakes my hand. He remembered names, and was very considerate for the folks working with, for and around him. He could also be rather quiet at times and would speak intelligently on subjects that came up in conversation. He was a good man.
What a bellend he is ....he didn't even supply the security another bigger firm supplied 80% of their ponces to him coz he had only half dozen roidheads to tap up.
Very hard not to like mad Frankie, he was a real old London character the likes of which we will never see again. Violent and dangerous in his prime of course, but here he is just a funny cheeky old man with a glint in his eye. And as someone else says, he doesn’t slag anybody off only says nice things about the others when he’s asked. That shows he had a lot of morals
Cesar the geezer! He was the local radio guy everyone listened to when I spent a while in Canterbury jail back in the the 90’s. He always did a shout out for the prisoners. He did a great show and loads of the cons tuned in. He was a good familiar voice to hear and helped keep morale up.
He’s a genuine funny guy . He will tell you he’s not a gangster . He’s never been a gangster . He had a very big door firm but plod got it shut down after they saw him do Ronnie Krays funeral security. Was called a grass and took it to court and was proved he wasn’t and the copper who set it all up got prison . He’s genuine fella , been a dustman , a porn star , debt collector, ran a big door firm .
People who slag Dave off confuse me. He’s just a likeable geezer with a very intimidating phone book. He’s never claimed to be a gangste., he just knows them all
