Welcome to the Disneyland Beat You Tube Channel where our toes tap to a Disneyland Drum and we always whistle while we work. Our Disneyland videos are informative, positive and relaxing! We invite you to join the Disneyland Beat!
Donald! Your eyes are closed. We're gonna go again. Good one. Well, pay him, Donald. Wheee! That was amazing. *smooch* You are the best boyfriend ever and just think. Now you read me poems and sing me songs and rub my feet with no interruptions ever.
Hello beautiful Amy and handsome TC……I am actually not excited about the ride. If it’s anything like WDW, to me, it’s not something to write home about. I am looking forward to Hungry Bear BBQ Jamboree, as well as looking forward to seeing the new name of the land. Thank you. I hope you Live Stream opening day. Remember, I am still your mod! Peace, Love and Disney!
Oh, Halloween at the House of Mouse. All treats and no tricks. If this were my house, I'd run things differently. Add a splash of evil? Plunger and plunder? Well, this year would be different. I've got a trick for Mickey Mouse, but you all have to wait until midnight.

Hahaha! This is the one ride I was hoping you'd do a mapping for, and here it is already! Now I can finally compare it to the original Submarine Voyage and figure out what's in the place of all the original scenes!
Are you sure you have to scan into the second work to start booking lanes for park hopping tickets?!? That’s going to really mess up my plans just Thursday. 😢
When I was a kid in the 1980s, the Matterhorn was the first thing I looked for when my family arrived in Anaheim for vacation. It is one of the first glimpses of Disneyland that you get as you approach the park.
I think it needs to be repaired and kept in the park. The Matterhorn is a one of a kind roller coaster. There is nothing like it! Disneyland would not be without it!
Thank you for showing this map, I’ve always been interested in how the dark ride layouts look from above. Two years ago I was on the Pinocchio ride while it broke down and I got to walk off. It was in the Pleasure Island section near the Honest John and Gideon figures. While I was waiting to be guided out I noticed that with the Pleasure Island music off I could hear music from the finale segment of the Snow White ride next door where the dwarfs were chasing the witch up the mountain. That was cool to hear :D
So like I told you, Becky, I used the fireworks to escape the pirates and then helped Rick find the silver and defrost his squadron. Now, what's not to believe? Everything. Everything? I'm finished, you hear? Finished. No ransom, my house destroyed, on my way to prison, totally wiped out, and why? Because you had to have some stinkin' pets.
On our last visit I convinced my wife and kids to ride the Matterhorn for the first time. While it holds nostalgia for me they hated the jerky, bumpy ride and never want to ride it again. Disney has a tough choice here but Walt said the park would always be under construction and always changing.
Love the Jungle Cruise but when I was a LOT younger the boat seemed to go a bit slower, so the guest had more time to take in the sites. The skipper was great but I agree with MannyEmm that the narration was a bit fast. Thanks to the Disneyland Beat for all their time, hard work and posting.........................
I have spoken to cast members and due to new ADA and construction requirements it would require it to be 3xs as large of a footprint to replace, that’s why they can maintain the ride and refurbish but can never replace
I agree, but....Disney specifically has not tried to register this ride while many other locations in the park are. So technically it isnt. Thanks for the comment though. I hope you are right!!!
I agree. The most positive solution I see would be to rebuild with an expanded footprint. They can only repair so much at a time without running into permitting issues. I think it will require some of the real estate Autopia and the old Motor Boat Cruise dock occupies. But there is plenty of room and it totally could be done and up to modern safety and ADA codes!
Maybe Disney should focus on fixing their crumbling attractions, rather than trying to force Tokyo Disneyland to replace Splash Mountain - the most popular Disney attraction in the world.
Nice idea, Gadget, love. Thanks, Monty. Which one? Okay, the suntan oil worked considering... Gosh, guys, I--I thought I was helping. But I don't think I can think that way. Well, how about if we wear our swimsuits while we go sightseeing? Or we could look at maps while we lie on the beach. Or if we sightsee on stilts, we'll be that much closer to the sun. Hey! Or I can learn to just come up with a solution and go with it. So what if the others wanna do something different? I can work on my inventions all by myself. Oh, hello. Um, Is it okay I'm here? I mean, I'm not trespassing or anything? Mine's Gadget. You know, you remind me of someone. My feet? I mean, gosh, I'm sinking! Sure. Gosh, you look just like me. Dig in, boys. It's okay. Ha! They're boneless. Golly, thanks, guys. Now, that's my Gadget.
Totally. I love Harold, but the thought of a Stollenwurm sounds amazing! In the folklore of the Alpine region of south-central Europe, the Tatzelwurm, Stollenwurm, or Stollwurm is a lizard-like creature, often described as having the face of a cat, with a serpent-like body which may be slender or stubby, with four short legs or two forelegs and no hindlegs.
Simple Disney has all the money in the world if Disneyland was to be completely destroyed by a earthquake by a fire they have enough money to build it back from the ground up 100 times so I don’t know what the problem is when they say the budget! What do they want to fix? What do they want to work on? It’s what’s they prioritize?
Agreed. As the parks are arguably the most reliable income next to ESPN they should invest!! But it does feel like they are less and less concerned with the voices of the Disneyland faithful, those who still say What Would Walt Think?
i hope they dont demolish it, of all the mountains i did at disneyland matahorn was my favorite. it might be rough but its fun and smooth in my heart. loved it and hopefuly one day when i return ill ride it again.
