I am in Arizona. Here those black ants are terrible. They are very attacktive and poisonous. One single bite will make my skin red swollen and very etching for days.
Thank you very much for the tutorial. Early this morning I set a trap because the gopher was eating the root of an orange tree. Not even a minute passed and the trap caught it. THANK YOU For the video
I still see mosquito larvae after applying this product. You will still see the larvae because this product does not actually "kill" the larvae. It is an insect growth regulator, which means it will prevent the larvae from developing into the adult stage, causing it eventually to cease and die. Found in FAQ. Thank you
I have a "cat cam" set up to monitor the feral cats in the neighborhood. I discovered that I also have 2 possums and a rat. Just one. But as they say, where there's one rat, there has to be more. So I bought this trap and the hardest part was the rubber band. It's so tight that it hurt my arthritic hands and I was not able to get it all the way to the end. SO I asked my neighbor, who is young and strong. I have it set up and ready to go. I can't figure out how this contraption actually kills the rat. It's hard to imagine that that little black plastic lever can be deadly. We'll see!
Hey just wanted to mention that this video is way to fast and skips many details. It's as if this video was only made for people who already know where and what the parts and pieces are.
Useless video. I need to see close-up how are you actually supposed to apply it. Do you sprinkle it in a continuous line, or just throw it around (which it looks like in the video). They show close-ups of this guy standing there talking, and practically nothing on the details of how to correctly spread it. No thought was put into this video at all. Typical corporate types.
I have always loved Amdro ant bait. I have used it for years around my log home to keep carpenter ants at bay, and it kills most ants and some other insects. Unfortunately, this year we have a large outbreak of carpenter ants getting into some old tree stumps where we had trees cut down a couple of years ago. I have treated twice with the normal Amdro ant bait and they keep coming back. They're not really getting in the house, but they have some huge nests outside. I just got some of this home perimeter insect kill with the quick kill on the container. I hope this works.
Video skips the critical detail: The wire that goes into the hole in the plate: Look at the other end of that wire. That short bit of wire that comes off the coil is what holds down the spring loaded parts.
DAmn,. and Thank You!!! I completely missed that and was cussin up a storm at this thing! ALSO: you should travel the short end of the wire catch around the outer perimeter on the side which does not have the bent metal fastener (strap) that holds the piercing arm in. This will help a lot when getting it in place. Note that there is also a little tiny groove there to set clip of the short end in place. Thank you again!!
This video needs to be redone, as it puts the focus of the mechanism in the wrong place. The most important part is the tiny hook opposite from the metal plate. It hooks over the front end of trap.
In Florida, better to just sprinkle it on the mounds on the lawn. This way they die outside before they even think about coming in to your home. I do this about twice to three times a month in warm/hot weather, AND also around the perimeter less often. It's a continual pest control here. When you destroy 5 mounds, there's 5 new mounds by the end of the month. You'll never eradicate them unles you put down fake turf. What I don't like are those fire ants, Man, if THEY ever get into your house they'll eat you alive. My parents had that pronblem in their home. If I slept over, I'd wake up in the middle of the night to one or two stinging bites !!
Both the instruction video and instructions that come with the traps suck!! This video finally helped me set some traps: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2GSfT6DxHZM.html.
I watched video and followed the instructions, but the trigger releleases every time before I can even slide the tube into the housing. This looks like a real waste of money.
I don't get it. I saw a couple ants carrying some away but not many. Ants still just walk through it anyway and have long trails in the backyard. What do I do now? Seems like it doesn't work very fast. So how do I water the lawn? I guess let plants die.
Ive tried just about everything available and Amdro Ant Block is the only thing that totally solved my ant problem. I shake it around my exterior foundation twice a year (spring and fall) and I have zero ants now year round. To make it easy to remember, I spread it every Easter and Thanksgiving while I'm wasting time waiting for our dinner to cook. Enjoy your last holiday meal ants!
@@MaharlikaAWA the granules are time released and hold up in water. The proof is in the results. I have zero ants year round now after spreading it twice a year

I put all the Bates out and it doesn't seem to be having any effect on the amp. They just go right around it. I haven't seen any of them going and eating this stuff.
Good to know. Got my Box of Corry's, I'm hoping to get more than ONE strawberry from my entire 5' X 2' FOOT strawberry box...it was definitely theirs LAST Year : (
This is not helping me assemble this trap at all. Cannot see in the instructions in the box or in the video how the “trigger” is supposed to be manipulated.
Im confused man I used it, checked it in the morning. The bait was gone the trap was triggered and the rubber band was gone too but the rat itself was no where to be found. Does it kill them quickly or slowly?
Horrible instructions. Horrible video...green trap in front of green grass!? And you totally gloss over the main important part of the trap wire holding it in place. Why not make a video saying "hey this is important..look here!". I wasted too much time on this. Hope it works.
If the printing and pictures on the back of the box weren't so small and faint, I could have saved about 20 minutes of squinting and guessing. Who does your graphics... someone with 18 year old eyes?
I bought the ready-to-spray bottle and the concentrate. My thinking was that I could use the concentrate in the ready-to-spray bottle after the bottle was empty. Was I mistaken?
It seems you need to get to the hole immediately after you discover it. I had several little mounds in my yard and almost all of them seemed to be closed.
