Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I love how you got the girls' arms in front of their skirts. It was geat that you shared your thought processes with us. I'm glad it is not just me who would have applied gesso before I'd have thought just to put paper behind their wings. I haven't watched you before, but I look forward to watcing some more of your creations.🏵🐞🌼
Wow, I didn’t know how to use gelli plates until now. Thank you I might give it a try. I love your creations and videos by the way I wish you would post more though.
Thank you for this precise, organized, concise, focused, beautiful, brilliant presentation. Also your remarks to what numbers to skip ahead are very helpful. (Not that I skipped ahead) and thank you for not prattling on about your private life and friends and weather and everything else in the world and keeping to the topic. this is a brilliant video. I wish I could give you more thumbs up ❤subscribed.
Absolutely beautiful!!! So glad your video came up when I searched Tim holts paper doll tutorials. This has been one of my top 3. Love all the techniques. Could I please get the magnifying glass, title and journaling that you offered to share? Thank you 😊
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! I'm glad you were inspired! In case you missed it. I have a playlist using the dolls here : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbPut2XfpWE.html

I am new. I love the freedom junk journaling allows, but the perfectionist in me is still too afraid to commit. I also want something-not as "junky"? More organic than a scrapbook, but more organized than a junk journal. Is there a category for that? My hubby says, "just start". He is prob. right. Loved your page. The color made all the dif. to me. Lovely
The sky is the limit!! Your hubs is right. Many times experienced artist meet "resistance" or get blocked. Find someone who has a style you like and start out copying them. You will gradually become more comfortable with product and develop your own style. There are soooo many products and options in mixed media and no right or wrong way to do it. Go for it and keep me posted!
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment Lisa! If you love the dolls you can check out my playlist here : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbPut2XfpWE.html

TYFS, love Shawn Petite! Unless I'm creating a masterpiece to go in a frame or for sale....I use watered down non washable Elmer's white glue in my Art journals to stick and seal. Not alot of difference in results but huge difference to my wallet. Hugs Kate in New York 🤗
Hi Connie. I am little behind but wanted to say thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to comment. I'm outside of Houston. Where are you? We moved here from FL and love it here.
@@PaperliciousDesigns I’m in a small town called Winnsboro, located 100 miles due east of Dallas. I’m in Bryan College Station often as my son and grandkids are there. I’m a 4th generation Texan so Welcome❣️
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment! It's so exciting when you feel like you have inspired someone else. Do you like creating index cards?
@@PaperliciousDesigns You are welcome! I typically make ATCs, twinchies and Mem dex cards, but I like to coffee dye index cards, and add tabs on them to be used as vintage recipe cards!
I enjoyed that...I to have the paper dolls stashed somewhere!.... I haven't done a collage for ages so your inspiration has got me thinking...thank you....BFN. ..Jane North Wales UK 🇬🇧 👌

love, love, love what you have done here.thank you for sharing it with us. I too have bought a few packs of the dolls, but haven't started using them yet, so this has inspired me to have a go xxx
Thank you for talking us through how you laid out your collage. It's not something that I have done much of, so I was inspired to give it a go. Thank you xx
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Karen don't give up. If you don't like your first try, just cover it up or turn the page. That's the great thing about mixed media. The more you practice the more you will enjoy it! We are in the middle of a big house reno and I hope to be back making video's soon!
Hi Betty Boo. I spilled water on my lap top a while back and I don't think I had is backed up on the external drive. Let me see if I can find it. I think I may have to printed copies of the printables for the "traveling" Tim Holtz journal layout. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1Kjz8D-dHXc.html We are currently going through a major house renovation. Hi Barbara, thanks so much for stopping by my channel. I've been a little outta the loop we started a major home renovation. Hope all is well with you!
@@PaperliciousDesigns hi Melissa, it is a pleasure, love to watch your process , always with a lot of inspiring tips ❣️stay well and best wishes for your home renovation .
Hi Sandra. Thanks for stopping by. If you like that size art, I have a playlist just for iCAD sized art! Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. So sorry it took so long to reply. We are undertaking a major home remodel. Hopefully I can get back to creating more frequent RU-vid video's soon!
Love these! Did you just cut the decorative paper into index card size and use that as your "card", or did you glue it onto an actual index card? It looked like no actual index cards were involved. 😊
Hi Toni. Yes, I think I said at the beginning of the video index card sized but if not, so sorry. The focus is really actually using an index card so much as making little pieces of art. So I usually use sturdy water color paper or cardstock. Hope that helps! Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. So sorry it took so long to reply. We are undertaking a major home remodel. @@PaperliciousDesigns thank you for your reply. You probably did say that at the beginning but I missed it. I watch while eating breakfast, usually getting up and down to deal with our Yorkie. 😊 House remodels are tough! I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end.
I used to have a Yorkie. She was a feisty little thing. She lived til she was 16. Miss her. What is your Yorkie's name? We also have a chihuahua and he is 17.
Hi Charis. Thanks for watching. I love doing these little cards. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. So sorry it took so long to reply. We are undertaking a major home remodel. Hopefully I can get back to creating more frequent RU-vid video's soon!

Hello from Texas! Thanks so much for stopping by Sharon. I have been sick and working and haven't been able to make a video in a while. Thanks for you encouragement and I'm glad you are enjoying the video's!
@@PaperliciousDesigns *Awww Thank you. I'm working my way back to crafting after a 20 yr break. We moved Summer 2019 & my new friends here got me back into crafting. It's been slow going. I'm having a hard time sitting too long. I have pillows & all & still no relief. I just posted a video of my gift I just sent out for my Mother-in-law. I have found I love decoupaging with tissue papers. Loads of Fun. Happy Crafting. 😁😁😁* Sharon in SC
This is absolutely gorgeous 🤗🤗🤗 I just went on a weird binge of buying Tim Holtz paper dolls because they are just so cute and now I can see how to use them! May I suggest showing your planning process for people like me who need to learn to plan pages better 😂😂😂 I just subbed, such a great channel!!!!
Me too! I just bought the new solo's and groups. I have taken a break from making video's do to life circumstances. But hope to get back at it soon. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I can well you that I love what I call "the sitters" so step one for me is finding something for them to sit on. I have been stamping for years so I do tend to lean that way and this year mostly Red Lead Paperworks because I love there images. So this bird is a stamp by them. I have a little boy sitting on a seashell and another one standing in a globe. I also have a little girl sitting on a chair stamp image and a lady leaning with her hand on a bicycle seat. But you can find lots of free images on line to pair them up with. I'm not sure if I will continue to do it the same, but step 2 for me is to look and the paper doll and imagine a story, write poem or story to include on the page. After that it's just creating a fun mixed media style background and adding anymore images I might have that would match. I try to give just enough info to teach by keep the video as short as possible because everyone says noone will sit and watch one over 10 minutes. Hope that helps!
Hi Jeanette. So sorry it has taken so long to reply. I had to put youtube/video making on hold due to life circumstances but hope to get started again soon! Thanks soooo much for watching and taking the time to comment.
