I was told u can't tell a difference unless u have a aftermarket expansion chamber exhaust, like a good exhaust that is better than the factory, do u have a stick exhaust when u filmed this or does it have a better exhaust when u filmed this?
Swap those bolts for studs. I learned the hard way. I do it on all my new engines right when I open the box. Its cheap and easy. It will save you so much pain later.
Not much point in speculating on how long it will be around I think considering your Decades of experience sarcasm and I know you didn't say how old you are but being disappointed about lack of snow days speaks volumes even to somebody like me living in Central Florida. You said I run it lean and in the same breath I run it rich and I was just wondering if you had a tiebreaker to offer for those of us who are a little confused by that. I'm going to go ahead and wrap this up a little early and assume you wouldn't recommend it to a 54-year-old man who's always frustrated then.... Thanks for the video
We can just call it a one-year review and move on I think because you said it set for a while unused which cancels out the time you've had it longer than a year so now...... I'm hoping there's a test ride and evaluation of all the different aspects like battery life and range and not just another equally long portion of I can't believe it still works
Also you could use JB weld steel and put a stud in a hole that's flushed out if you can't expand to a bigger tap size or if you messed up on tapping or don't want to tap LOL just add JB weld hardener on the stud as well! Also it may be more cost efficient for people in a bit of a bind that can't afford a tap set out of the gate
Boost bottles ain't worth using..seems like the carb is too busy trying to fill the bottle and not the engine...plus a shorter intake seems to work better..why add more travel...
I completely agree with you in the video on the answer to no it's not worth it. The last thing you ever want on these engines is it to be lean and it just causes way more problems. Should always keep it safe and simple
Since ya asked, the exhaust looks like a big-fat tumor that don't belong on the bike, maybe not how I would've done it, but I can sure appreciate your ingenuity and resourcefulness, I've seen much worse, thanks for sharing.
Man I been looking for a bud like this for a week now!im a cheap old prick n just bought a kx 65 pipe for my yd-100.can’t wait thanks for sharing your info.
I know this old video but u can install little kids bike crank arms or buy low rider crank arm ?online the small ones to clear pipe or cut and weld but look cleaner If u buy some
Ripped seat, pipe is too big for the motor, but the worst part is the build it's self that thing will fall apart from the vibration of the more than likely stock China girl, I just hope those brakes don't fail either man. Unsafe
