What should I do if my daughter's phone was set up as if she was over 13 but she is only 8 and I am now trying to set up the family sharing and parental controls? Should I wipe her phone and start over?
Well if your kids are doing this, then you are a bad parent. Most kids are responsible unless you raise them wrong, and respectfully, you can control everything they do on this app
It’s your kid at the end of the day I guess but this is just teaching your kids to be sneaky. My parents were strict when I was living with them and they had all sorts of parental controls on my phone and I couldn’t get any social media, which just made me figure out sneaky ways to download social media. If you lay off your kid but instill good values into your kid, they will be more honest and a better kid
