Another nice video,we are going to pog lake campground july 1st,first time at algonquin for us so thanks for the informative video, keep up the good work.
Nice to see some good places for the doggos! We personally like Pinery best ... the dog beach is better than the human beach! That said, Kilbear ranks a close second. We are trying Pancake Bay this year, and see how that works out.
I haven't camped there since the 90's. The last time I camped at Windy Lake, about 4 years ago, I took the drive to Halfway but found it wasn't what I remembered. It seemed a lot more open then it used to be.
thanks for your videos...we really appreciate them and were looking at some different parks as we havent been able to get into restoule yet so looking at this one as a possibility and we love kayaking so looks great...is there enough to do for a week...we are coming from oshawa so ab out 5 hours...what gas station did you stop at ?
Have you tried Mikesew, it's not far from Restoule and it's great park. We like to try new parks as well as our favorites. This year so far we are doing Arrowhead, Mew Lake, Murphy Point and I'm doing a solo trip to McRae
@@campkayakadventures Yes we discover mikisew 3 years ago and keep going back ! we are there for 10 nights in July. scored a great site. We have been to all the 3 you mentioned. Murphy was cool Wasn’t a huge fan of arrowhead contrary to opinion but it was rainy and horrible bugs so would like maybe to try again Mew we did years ago. can’t go wrong in algonquin
What a great area to explore! Can see a few touches of fall all around. Looks like it was a nice time to camp for some good peace and quiet! Great stuff!! Bruce and Otis
Thanks, was wearing it at Bass Lake Provincial Park recently, and the park warden mentioned it as he used to work there. I find the parks sell quality hats. I have three of them and they are all good.
Going there this aug 7-14,site 3,west campground, usually go every year in august, small but well run park not far from the beach, falls, shopping, sauble north meats and more store. Thanks for posting your video Frank, enjoyed it.
Great video! I ran into you both at the store parking lot on the Sunday and we had a quick chat after trying to beat the heat with some ice cream. Enjoy the rest of your camping season!
It's louder if you are near the beach or any camp site on that side. I have been there a few times and after you hear it a few times you don't notice it anymore
We were excited to be able to book there this year. It’s been over 25 years since the last time. We camped many times in Harold Point on the loop. Lots of good memories of jumping off the rocks with my son and daughter, now being able to take my grandson and granddaughter. We always had good luck getting into the park before reservations, going to amphitheater for ‘roll call’. Thanks for posting. Rick
