These three videos are amazing to watch, especially as I have been driving the same routes in Trainsim World 4, right up to Burn Naze. Thanks for sharing them 😃
Hi Ashton this is great footage I was wondering if I could please ask to use a little for my documentary on the Fleetwood to Knott End Ferry? Video is on my channel about the project if you want to know more its called End to End. I've been working with the Fleetwood Museum and the current crew of the Ferry to make it. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Anton :)
Hi Anton - Thank you for your comment about my video. Sorry for the delay in replying but I've had trouble getting in to my account. You are welcome to use whatever scenes you want - can you take it direct from the RU-vid video or not? John Green (aka Mr Ashton Moss)
@mr.ashtonmoss6013 Hey Ashton so sorry we've finished the edit but thank you 😀 We are doing local screenings in Knott-End and Fleetwood soon. Will message on here if you want to come
Some of these rides can be downloaded & ridden for nostalgia on the game 'planet coaster' PS5....(all dlc needs downloading too)....the ghost-train, river caves,Alice in wonderland, big dipper, gold mine even the log flume is there...... arthurperno 2 has videos on youtube and is same name on the game to subscribe to...he's done a great job!!!
Wow that takes me back... I worked on the Logflume for the season in 1974,we all used to ride it(5 at a time) first thing every day to check it out....the 'logs' wouldn't get any closer than what you saw here(although a couple of times they did) the 'magic eye' at the bottom of the ramp would cut out the belts to avoid a collision) and they would all stop..... it was fun to go out and rescue those at the top of the ramp😂 thanks for the upload....
I’m surprised how varied the traction is towards the early 2000s. I’m a bit gutted I wasn’t born a few years earlier so I could see all this instead of growing up with nothing but EMU and DMUs.
They still have the flume drop hill but has now become part of the infusion ride i May never got my chance as I was to young and still in school the year it closed could never save up enough money to come then would had love to have seen it oh well.
Why not just get an unlimited all year round pass yes it's for locals apparently but I think all you need is friends or relations here in the sh💩t hole sorry I should have said town
Sadly some idiots who own the PB decided to remove it some years ago for ICON or Infusion to take it's place, could have removed the Grand Prix or Turnpike as it might have been sometimes known as and put Ikon/Infusion there instead......all unique rides are being removed for no good reason
Hi Carne - thank you for your comment. I didn't make a note of the tour date at the time but I've traced it to 11th April 1992 - it was the 'Carlisle Fifty Farewell' tour.
I do remember the regional railways coaches and class 31 sets , some went to Liverpool and some Manchester. The 37s went to North Wales a lot. Absolutely filthy, fantastic. You could still smell the exhaust 10 minutes after the train passed😀 Thanks for sharing 👌
What wonderful memories for your family. I remember first riding this in the late 70s as a youngster thinking it was the most hardcore ride ever. Blackpool was amazing then but I haven't been in years from what I've seen its changed a lot but that's natural I guess.
Thank you for your comment Gareth - if you have not already seen my other Pleasure Beach video with more memories of family visits, here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ClZeR95JHFc.html
