Hello, my name is Jayne and I’m from Australia. Welcome to my channel where I look forward to sharing my love of fountain pens, ink and stationery.
I now have an Atlas Stationers Affiliate link that you can use. Please see link below, and use the coupon code JAYNE10. It’s that simple! And a big thank you for all your support 😊
What’s up Jayne! So off the ledge and into the juicy world of double broads. That’ll empty a sample won’t it? 😂 I love the sound pens make when they open and close up. Soothing 😊 Do you mix Birmingham Inks at all? Diamine Wild Strawberry used to be my favorite red ink. Way back in the early days. 💜 I paired up that Sunset Glow with a TWSBI Mini gold color. They write every time I pull them up. That’s be a forever pairing. If I hear one more person mention the TWSBI Irish Onyx. 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜 💜
@@robbourne1950 so enjoying the ink samples you sent across Rob, thank you 🙏🏻 I can understand why you love Sunset Glow so much 💛 I’m glad you enjoyed the sounds of the uncapping and recapping, I like hearing the pen writing too but know it’s not for everyone. Thank you for watching Rob and have a great weekend 😊
@@sarahsarahkk hi Sarah, thank you for your kind words 🙏🏻 I’m glad you enjoyed the video, I’m very happy with the variety I’ve got this month. Thank you so much for watching. I’m sorry you missed out on the envelope this month 😕
your new Just Turning is GORGEOUS!! I saw & drooled over it on Stephen's site 💝 If you ever get to feeling that any of your JT need a new home 👋👋👋 I am very sorry for your loss Jayne. 💚💜 I hope you had a lovely birthday 😊
@@jppenandink will do!! i realized i had never tried to claim an envelope before and halloween is my favourite holiday so it seemed like a great time :D
Sounds like it has been quite the rollercoaster of a time for you the last few weeks. Happy belated birthday and so sorry for your loss. Lovely selection of pens and inks!
What a great idea to make your own envelopes Jayne & they look so amazing. The template makes it easy too. Flood watch is a worry. We had floods here in Launceston about 1 1/2 years ago I think it was. We were in a flood area & had to evacuate. Scary time as the water came to only a couple of metres of our back fence. We were lucky but a lot of people suffered major flood damage to their homes & belongings. We moved about 6 months later & made sure we chose a higher non-flood area. Thanks for subbing to my channel. Subbed to yours also. Kind regards, Tony.
Oh my, I could never have that many inked up😂. Lovely ink/pen combos. Laban Aphrodite is often out of stock (mine was on back order for about 6 weeks) so you may want to keep both samples if you really love it.
You are so welcome my friend! I am so pleased that you love everything and yes, feel free to share the Laban ink with a friend! I’m soooo far behind with watching all of the inky/pen vids. Take care❤
@@Tina.Journals hello lovely, I am so grateful for your letter and inky goodies, not to mention the oblique nib which I am enjoying getting used to it. I hope you are ok, take care and enjoy the rest of your weekend 😘
@@Adventuresover40 hi Priscilla, I am having so much fun trying different inks in pens at the moment and seeing how they perform. Cannot thank you enough for your generosity lovely 🙏🏻 I hope you have a wonderful week 😊
I used to have 5 pens inked at a time. That was at the beginning of my pen journey when I didn’t have much variety in terms of ink colours. I literally only had black, blue and red inks. Now that I’ve evolved along my journey, and learned to enjoy different colours, I tend to have at least 20 inked at a time. I enjoy the different colours and enjoy the different writing experience each pen delivers. Especially with the variety of nib types and sizes. It’s all so much fun. I also picked up the TWSBI Eco Irish Green. I decided to get a stub nib, and have it currently inked with KWZ Sheen machine 2. It’s such a dark green ink, and the stub nib writes wonderfully. Thank you for sharing.
@@kagoya15 hi there, 20 pens is a good amount to have inked and gives variety. I’m glad you are enjoying your new Irish Green Twsbi as well, it’s such a nice colour green. It’s funny how our tastes evolve over time. I never could have imagined having 40 or so pens inked when I first started out in my pen journey, now it seems completely normal 😂 Have a great week and thank you so much for watching 😊
Good morning Jayne, I’ve not tried the Twsbi classic. The new Irish green Twsbi is gorgeous. I love different nib sizes. Nice amount inked, 42. I have 39, not including the Twsbi’s. Have a great day.
@@fountainpensinksmore3290 hi Jane, thank you so much for watching! I have a new pen on its way to me that will house a double broad nib and it will be my first experience with it so I’m rather looking forward to it. Since recording this video, I have written another 3 pens dry. I am almost tempted to ink up another 3, but with the Pelikan HUB this coming Friday, will just wait and see. I usually like taking some pens with me for people to try etc. Are you going to a Pelikan HUB this year?
With all of the letters that you write I'm sure that you will go through this lineup quickly. A nice Selection of inks, pens and nibs. I hope that you're bringing the "GO" to the Hub?
@@raybuck hi Ray, yes I am definitely taking the Pelikan GO to the HUB, may have to reink it 😊 Thank you so much for watching Ray and see you on Friday!
I'm really enjoying the Noodler's pen you sent me Jayne, I actually love the way it writes, it has a little bounce to it. The TMK Butterfly Dream is one of my fave inks, I have a bottle of it so if you want more I can send you a sample. I love having heaps of pens inked up LOL. Have a lovely evening 😀
@@afountainpenawakening hi Katie, I’m glad you are enjoying the pen. Maybe I just need to get a bit more flexy with my flex nib 😂 The Troublemaker Butterfly Dream is such a gorgeous ink, I can understand why you love it so much. Thank you so much for watching, hope you have a wonderful week 😊
@@storge306 hi Steve, it’s not my usual go to green, that’s why I love it when pen friends ink enable me because I try different things and fall in love with them. Have a wonderful week and thank you so much for watching 😊
@@DebraDarkandTwisty hi Deb, it’s such a great green the new Twsbi isn’t it, so glad I got it too! Thank you for watching lovely and I hope you have a great week 😊
@@darlamaple6319 hi Darla, I’m glad I’m not the only one 😄 I am so enjoying the ink samples you sent me, thank you 🙏🏻 and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend my friend 😊
LOL! Oh JAYNE!!! I was like, let me help you out, Jayne, but let me finish listening to everything and then you mention me. LOL. I watched Teresa's video where she went to the DC or the Dutch pen show and she spoke with the Taccia lady herself and she pronounced it for us. I WAS FLABBERGASTED as I would not have spelled taccia the way she pronounced it. She said, "TAH - SHA". It's not TA-CHIA (which I've been saying for a while now). So it's very easy, just tasha, like in "Natasha". :) Hope that helps!
I sometimes am late in viewing your videos (like this time) so I don’t request a letter although your envelopes are always lovely. Maybe I’ll try for one next time, even if I don’t view it as soon as you post it! 📬
@@Susansinksanddrills hi Susan, that is good to know 😊 I usually do the envelope giveaway at the beginning of the month with my currently inked videos if that helps. Take care 😊
Your envelopes are lovely, includi g this one. I have never "claimed" an envelope because I am receiving beautiful letters & envelopes already. 😊 Maybe show the envelope at the start, people might not be aware of it🤷🏻♀️ or it simply slipped their minds. I love your new layout, those inkslook beautiful together. As far as I know, Monarca is a Mexican brand🙋🏻♀️📮😄👌🌻💌
@@tanjablume6343 hi lovely, thank you for the feedback. I am going to do some more investigating of the Monarca brand, this particular ink is stunning! Speaking of letters, I received yours today, thank you and I can’t wait to write back 😊
@@Susansinksanddrills hi Susan, they are all gorgeous. In the end I decided to go with Gas Works Park and the oblique nib is showing a lovely sheen with the writing, very happy! Thank you so much for watching Susan, have a wonderful week 😊
@@MarcellHobbs hi Marcey, aren’t they gorgeous! I have been incredibly spoilt. Can’t wait to put them in pens, stay tuned! Thank you so much for watching, have a wonderful week 😊
What lovely inks... I have been really wanting to try The wet pen inks. I am excited to see what you thought of them. SBRE brown was wonderful to write with. I really enjoyed that one. The bird monster one is just beautiful. It almost reminds me of PSC by Colorverse but might be a bit lighter.
@@Adventuresover40 hi Priscilla, they are all gorgeous. I’m going to watch some of The Wet Pet videos this week. The Bird Monster is such a pretty green, I don’t have anything else like it so am excited to try it. Very impressed with the Lennon Tool Bar inks. Thank you for watching lovely, have an amazing week 😊
Of course I always watch to the end and have received one of your lovely envelopes in the past. I am so glad I did and that we are now corresponding; I consider you a a wonderful friend. Maybe look into google forms as a way to communicate with those who do not use IG? I know some You-tubers utilize google forms for giveaways, just a thought. The samples are all lovely (looks like we have a dupe). Have a wonderful week Jayne.
@@Tina.Journals hi Tina, google forms are great for big giveaways. I know Seemownay uses them. I use Instagram as a visual diary of sorts to tag the person who I am sending the mail to so they know what to keep a look out for. But you are right, I need to come up with an alternative of some kind. I’m not worried about the Laban Aphrodite, it’s such a gorgeous colour, but maybe now I can share a little with someone else 😍 Thank you lovely 😘
@@cerealnana I know, I feel so spoilt! The Blackberry ink seems to be very similar to De Atramentis Alexander Hamilton if that helps. Have a good week lovely 😊
@@PokhrajRoy. hi Pokhraj, I have been very spoilt, and am incredibly grateful for people’s kindness. Thank you so much for watching, I hope you have a wonderful week 😊
@@suista hi Suzanne, they are gorgeous colours. The Blackberry ink does remind me a little of De Atramentis “Alexander Hamilton” which we can buy here in Australia from Larry Post if you are after something similar. Thank you so much for watching, have a wonderful week 😊
What's up Jayne! I was going to send you a sample of Lennon Tool Bar Bird monster, but it seems Tina's Post office game is much tighter than mine. 🥰Go head Tina! So do you have anymore Firmament left? I was going to see which of the two you preferred. I won't say which one I prefer yet, but I will after your answer. Maybe do a side by side video? The wet pen has some nice inks. I might have to look around his site. He came back from Japan with some really awesome looking bottles of ink with amazing stories about them. I jogged over to the website and of course "We don't deliver outside of Japan!" 💜
@@robbourne1950 hi Rob, I will have to do a comparison won’t I, I am very grateful for the samples you shared with me 🙏🏻 What a shame they don’t ship outside of Japan. You know what that means don’t you Rob, you’re just going to have to go to Japan 😂
@@darlamaple6319 hi Darla, thank you for always being here, I truly appreciate it! I have a parcel going out to you tomorrow. Enjoy the rest of your weekend 🥰
Omg these inks are stunning, have fun Jayne! I do watch to the end, but I confess I sometimes watch in bed at night.. take a guess on how that ends lol! 🤷♀️🤭💕
