When you pull up the list to spawn a call if you type station 1 and hit enter in the search box all station 1 calls will show in the list removing all other station calls from it making it easier to find calls you want to do. You can do that for all the stations.
So fun fact. If you turn on Dispatcher Mode from in the Host Options menu, the forced calls function doesn't work when chosing a call to respond too. This also prevents receving auto generated calls and the call alarm (Station 51's iconic alert). When I left Dispatcher Mode disabled, the forced calls worked as did the auto generated calls. Prior to the summer update, you could run both at the same time. While technically Dispatcher Mode is designed for more multiplayer RP whereas forced calls is more single player it could still run simulatneously. I don't think itis a bug, but it might be a reprogramming of the game features, but I have no idea. Didn't see change logs regarding this. I figured you'd all like to know.

RE: the game play and how long it takes... yeah. It can take me a week or two IRL to get through an in-game day. But I try not to rush or anything and just enjoy the graphics and sounds and whatnot. If the only time I have after work on evening is to get the westbound from Whittier to Bryson then so be it, that's how much I get done lol. Edit... on the turn table issues... you gotta let go of the mouse button before switch back to third person view :D
I am just now able to get back and finish the last few minutes of the video... tip if you didn't already know. You can have the 3rd person view camera follow any specific rail car in your consist that you want. Either by following it from the inspector window or by following the front or rear of the train then using shift+9 or shift+0 (for each direction). This makes clicking the glad hands while in motion much easier, since your camera is focused on the car and moving with it.
Another good fire department movie/documentary is Burn about the Detroit fire department and should check out the TV series nightwatch about New Orleans fire,ems,and police department I really love the black over red paint job on the old school trucks it reminds me of the old school trucks from the first backdraft movie which is another firefighter movie you should check out
Well, that didn't look fun, Fire in a strip mall and no tight-looking babes to rescue, wtf, lolz. I do like the engine though, based on the same model that I have in Secondlife, if you've never seen the Secondlife trucks, Man, they are detailed and everything works the exact same as real-life trucks.

I do like the retro rigs, but one that would be cool is the open cab American LaFrance model like used in the TV series EMERGENCY back in the 70s. In fact it would be cool to see an entire retro pack based around that show. That is if Cory wanted to take on that challenge.
You have to click the call btw to respond to it. Aka, f2 - when it says dispatched you’re not added to the call then when it shows green, then that means that you’re dispatched and I’ll give you arrows on the road to tell you where you’re going
