I was stationed at Perrin AFB, Texas and it was an F-102 training base. The F-102 was beautifully futuristic, unlike the aircraft of today. I was a F-4C crew chief but love the F-102

This was the Firestone plant located in Wyandotte, MI. The plant produced 775,674,000 .50 Caliber Links from 1March 1942 to 1 February 1944.
