Thanks for your video, I already went through this way, but it's not working properly, at this moment everyone with different users has access to every folders, but I just share for example folder number 1 with user number 1
Hi. Check at 1.05. You see the Base URL. of course your webmail address (everything before /dav) will be different, and just change your email instead of whats written in red. This base should be standard for all Zimbra
Who ever wrote nextcloud does not have a skill to make it easy. Too many steps covoulted menus. For example a common request: Have a private nextcloud and want all new users go into a group and a auto created folder (Unique name) that is shared with one user (The office hosting server) but not each other. I can make it do many things, but not auto share a starting folder with one person after they register. That requires the staff to manually share it then send a email telling them it was shared. It needs to be 1. sign up 2. have a folder pre made AND Shared so the new user can just drop a file in and done. This is needed with doctors offices to be able to transfer patient files from office to office securely. The clients goal is to just send a pdf or records back and forth. So all they need is a shared folder. Asking them to manually create a folder then go through all the hoops to create and then share a folder with the office that hosts the server is too many steps for a busy staff. That is why mail hippo is superior, its secure and easy. Its only drawback is file size is limited to 20 or 100 Mb max. Next cloud can handle much larger files like gigabytes. It just needs to be easier to have it automate simple things.
Thank you for your effort, I am wondering as junior system administrator, is there a way to archive email for let say a year before and make a link in zimbra web interface to that archive location ? Would appreciate that if there is an answer or hint for that... Thank you in advance...
Unfortunately I never found a way. I have several groups where i don't want them to see each other. I don't think there is a way in Nextcloud talk to make separate groups. I am hoping they will come with a feature like this.
Hi Asger. Thanks. That would be good. I will review this as I see it was the none-edited version i uploaded. Good with a film on MAC and Security Settings how to give access to Teamviewer and Sound&Camera in your browser
