Besides being an Earth honoring media creator, I am a Lifelong Thrifter, Spirit Bridge Healing Practitioner, Animist Minister and founder of Web of Life Animists, an Animist church, online and in Tucson, AZ (O'odham & Pascua Yaqui land). In these episodes we (You and I) share: Animist Politic (Animist Common Sense), Sensual Conversation about Relevant Life Ways, Listening to the ways of our Beyond Human Kin, Decolonizing Unlearning, Rehoming our Animist Nature, Spiritually Thrifted Dress Up, Evolution Plotting and Poetic Navigation while we flow into the "After Times". I live alone with my parakeet Sundrop. He has two windows in his life: the birds outside his room, who come to the feeder pots and have lunch with him. ( His feed dish is on the inside windowsill). And he has RU-vid, where he can sing with fellow parakeets. He has accepted invisible but permanent barriers in his world. Me too. At 86 a lot of my buddies are on the other side but I have you two angels - healers of angels - for my lunch buddies. You feed my soul because you value ALL life. In these dark times, faith feeds on faith. Thanks for being there. Thanks for being You.
I met hue and Henry, hue was niebors with my girlfriend yoko, yoko had a ranch next door to hue, she loved huh, Henry came after, I got to meet both on visit about ten years ago, hope there ok!!!

This is perfect information at just the right time. I live in Tucson AZ too and have been attempting to winter over my Moringa. I have two that made it from last year and had pretty good growth until a bad chill two weeks ago and I got the crunchy leaves. I will cut them back and mulch heavily as per your video. Thanks!
So how did they fare doing what you describe? How far down did you cut them? Did you insulate the remaining trunk? Did you water the trunk at all during the winter? I was gifted a couple small trees and am concerned now that it’s Dec just how to protect them for the coming freezes we’ll have.
I insulated them but didn't cut them much because they weren't that tall (2-3ft). I gave them only occasional water. We had some rain. They seem to work well in arid areas. They put on good growth this year.
@@BarbaraC02 Thank you so much for your response. It helps put my concerns at ease. The one tree I was given was easily over 10’ tall so I cut it at around 3 feet for the trunk and cut the remainder into two pieces which I put directly in the ground as I’ve read they can reroot that way. I also was given a smaller tree only 18” high which I put in the ground as it was in a pot. I put a box around all of these and filled the box with leaves as insulation. As soon as all risk of frost is passed I’ll remove the box. Hopefully one or more of the bunch will pull through. It’s a rather exciting tree to grow for how fast it can shoot up in a year. It's as if Martin says Scout's wingspan is incredible and then, right at that moment, scout shows off this wingspan. I'd like to believe they get a cue from Martin and so, raises up those glorious wings. As if on cue!!!! Beautiful pose Scott. There is another, much older name Challenger and he flies at the national anthem around the entire stadium and land on his handlers glove but he goes to many stadium events and almost at the arm of handler, spreads his wings almost like he's posing. I don't think he may not be with us anymore but this is now my favorite eagle. Check out Challenger as well as Martin's posing eagles. I love all eagles. I hope you're not angry for my mentioning Challenger. He's definitely one of a kind.

Hence the term, EAGLE EYED. We use it all the time and now I know why. Boy scouts have eagle scouts so scouts name is appropo. Minnesota has Harriett, the rescued eagle with half of a wing who has travelled all over the nation, has been on Jay Leno and other talk shows, and is the eagle face on their license plates!! She's infamous. She lived for 35 years. She was one of a kind. Eagles are America's favorite bird and mine too. Love to Martin and Susan always. I pray you two live to be 100, happy, healthy and still able to care for all sick, suffering, orphaned birds of prey and others. Bless you two incredible, wonderful human beings. There are not too many out there anymore, sadly.🦅
