Hello bro I bought awful performer 5 few months back and liked it (coming from lets sure s12 pro) . Do you think its worth upgrading to performer 7 or performer 5+2 ?
AFUL is turning out to have one of the best IEM lineup on their respective price range. The MagicOne, explorer, the p series and Cantor, all are excellent ❤. So excited for its release.
I was interested in getting the cantor, but the whole earpiece kind of pushed me away from it, this seems like a good second choice and it'll probably be comparable price point to the 5. Though i recently got a Campfire Audio Fathom for half price which is an amazing vocal iem, so i don't know if it'll fit in my collection.
Oh man i just ordered Aful performer 5 ..2 days ago on sep 30th Got for 17661 from concept kart Fomo is biting me - pulkit bhai share some tips n tricks for getting best out Aful p5- guide me
@@gadgetgenerationspulkit awesome listening from Saturday my costliest purchase till date thanks Pulkit- any tips tricks for getting the best experience..am mainly using it from 14promax
Hello bro, Sorry i have no experience with FH13. Between od200 and meze alba i would personally pick OD200, it has more details although meze is richer tonally.
Nice Review... Yeah the treble is kinda interesting, it's there without being fatiguing as such , don't know if I like it as much but yeah , nice one Rose
Use the foam tips included with the Spirit Torino Twin Pulse IEM. With those, the fit is great and they won't move at all. It has a brilliant sound (and I have IEMs that cost a lot more).
I have sold my N3 ultra, and yes the tubes make a difference. In fact the N3 Ultra is a fantastic DAP for its price if you don't need streaming. It actually has three timbre options, two tubes, and one solid state.
@@gadgetgenerationspulkit what exactly is the difference? I'm going to get the Estrella with Tapemod and was looking for a DAC/amp that can drive it to it's fullest potential.
There are three modes on the N3 Ultra, Classic Tube is a tad bit warm, slight mid-bass boost, Modern Tube Mode sounds rich but not as dense in mid-bass as the Classic version, Solid State mode sounds a bit neutral compared to the two tube modes. In my experience, the Estrella isn't very demanding as long as you provide her with a clean source you are good to go. I have tried Estrella with Chord Mojo2, HiBy R8ii, and Shanling Onix Overture XM5.
@@gadgetgenerationspulkit which source would you recommend to drive it to the fullest? The Cayin N3 Ultra Or Ibasso DX180. What difference is there in sound quality in both? Also, is there anything cheaper that would get the job done? Maybe the Shanling H2 which is 15k and quite powerful.
Shanling H2 is a good source, or wait that was the H5 that I tried. Bro both N3 Ultra and DX180 sound good, My personal suggestion would be N3 Ultra because of the three timbre options although no streaming at all. The DX180 sounds fantastic as well, it is clean and transparent for the most part and brings you android for streaming and all. At least give the Estrella a mid-fi level source like DX180 or N3 Ultra don't go for entry level products like H2.
My personal favorites are the following: Epz m100 Divinus Velvet normal bore/wide bore Spiral dots pro Do note that sometimes we need to play around with tips based on the iems.
@@gadgetgenerationspulkit Thank you for your reply greatly appreciated. I just got hifiman svanar wired and it's very picky when it comes to tips. I need a large one for my ear canal and longer because of the short stem of the iem.
@@chinmayrasam I personally prefer volare more bro. More details, more extensions, estrella has better tone imo. But that is not a fair comparison bro, volare is 600$
@@gadgetgenerationspulkit the man himself Jay said that the difference between an avg $300 iem and $1K iem is 10% at best. Estrella shoots way above its price point and Jay welcomes all competition under $1k. Most of the money on Volare is spent on the packaging. That's why I believe it's an absolutely fair comparison. I don't think the difference would be even noticeable. Would you be able to tell the more details and extension in blind A/B testing?
Sorry for my late reply bro, actually I don't get notification for replies to my comments and just saw your comment today. Yes I could tell which one is better in blind A/B because I have heard both of them and that too very extensively. Bought Volare the day it was launched in India. Have you heard yourself $300 and 1k$ IEM and experienced that 10% difference yourself? Where do you get the notion that most of the money on Volare is spent on the packaging? Yes the package is good but that doesn't mean that the sound is not. I would gladly pick Volare anyway. Also Estrella sounds good but I wouldn't stand with the saying, "It shoots way above its price point". My Alpha Omega Ra is better and it is priced at $590.
