The length of the screws would be determined by how thick the ceiling is. If I remember right, in my case I used 3/4 inch screws so it wouldn't go through my ceiling. I hope this helps you.
We use the roof vent fan for ventilation . The hood over the hot water heater is not a vent. It is to keep it from heating the ceiling up. It has fireproof insulation in it. Hope that answers your question.
Anyone know if there another type of tape that might hold a bit better than electrical tape? I'd be afraid that vibration would make it come loose over time.
Man I like your thinking. I did almost the exact same thing in my cargo trailer, but went with a permanently mounted 4 burner stove and I NEVER have enough counter space… I wish I would have thought of your design or saw your video sooner. I did go through the wall with an oven vent to pull the fumes out of the trailer from the Triton water heater… it can pump out the heat and fumes without the vent. I installed a North Woods wood stove in the trailer for some cozy heat back home in Wyoming and a 10k btu mini split AC to keep it cool in the summer. My 600 watts of solar panels on the roof along with my 3 100 aH Dakota Lithium LiPo batteries with run everything including my Magic Chef 4.5 cu Ft refrigerator freezer. I used all LED lights inside and out along with a 2000 watt pure sine inverter for AC equipment. It is perfect for my hunting and fishing trips… your set up looks awesome! Great video!
Did you hook this up to a composting toilet? If so can you direct me to the video? If not how did you mount this and did you use a vent pipe or just fasten it to the toilet base? Im building one now and would appreciate the input. Thank you, nice build!
These window covers/awnings are real winners. They shade the windows while preserving the view, protect the windows while on the move or in storage, and can add insulation to windows in super cold climates. They probably could be secured in a way to assist in theft deterrence as well. They are also quite charming in appearance while open and sleek and clean while closed. I want these for sure.
Very nice rig. I priced out the metal this spring and it was 80% the cost of the trailer size I could purchased. So for 20% more I let someone else build it😁
Thank you! You are the only review that clearly shows how to use the heat and water knobs. I have one of these outside for indoor sink and shower. I always need to change the settings depending on ambient outdoor temps and was never clear on what was happening. Not the easiest to figure out when a single person running water inside and changing knobs outside! I would not recommend outdoor setup for indoor use. You've got it right with your setup!
