Shes been my style icon ever since I was a kid. Shes cute, sexy and feminine. Everyone who worked with her spoke so highly of her and she seemed like a genuinely good woman. Sad that she's gone, but she left such a big impact
U.S. astronauts walked on the moon not once, but six times (Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17) for a total of twelve astronauts setting foot on the Moon. With a powerful enough telescope (a new-fangled scientific instrument for seeing distant things up close) you can actually see some of the landing sites and left-behind module bases. BTW, the Moon is 'spheric' (generally round), the sun is spheric, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn (with rings) is spheric....why would the Earth be flat? Earth does have a gravitational 'bulge' to it (making it more ellipsoidal, than perfectly round, but absolutely not flat). Astronauts on-board the International Space Station have recorded hours of 'over-view' footage showing the obvious curvature of the Earth's surface, and jet pilots flying at high altitudes can also see the Earth's curvature. Golly, the ancient Greek philosophers proved (with geometry and a stick's shadow) that the Earth is round 2300 years ago! And Ferdinand Magellan proved it practically with his circumnavigation of the globe in the 16th Century. The more you know...
