Absolutely Rad! Just bought one of these, fixed it up myself. Needed a tank clean and reseal, new front brake pad and caliper, new carburetor, new mirrors, some spacer 'adjustments' and a new battery (these suckers are small). Just need to wire a horn in properly, then I'm getting it inspected and registered.
My fathers "73" 8hp -4sp Was really stuck + tried break-away but no good. Then heated the trans case + started tapping + got it to start moving. Nobody thinks to lube it now + then but ya should.

yeah its a big one. I had plans to just daily drive it but who knows. Thats right!! any work on it each day gets you somewhere. We did a swap in my C10 in one weekend from one truck to the other. Hope to see that gmc on the road soon.

A monkey 🐒 wrench and two monkey's. 🤣 I just bought a porter cable 7.5 amp grinder. Used it to cut drain pipe under the toilet. Works great! I love it!
They get that stuck, oh no! I have a wheel horse charger 12 that the sleeve hitch is stuck in the pin is stuck and I thought I could oil it beat on it a little and it still only moves just a tiny bit
