my mic was muted for the latter half of the VODDDDDDDDDDDDD NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO my bad, but ill be playing sega bass fishing again soon so its kinda fine!
On the note of people not being able to get the higher ref levels if they don't own it, I feel like they should allow you to unlock arena after you complete Ref's quest line that would balance it out while also still allowing eod/unheard feeling like they got their moneys worth. If they want to make money off arena they should do cosmetics in my opinion, maybe add uniforms and stuff from real world PMC's. Overall really great video, loved your avatar.
My heart agrees with you, but sadly my brain does not. While unlocking Arena via the questline would be amazing, that wouldn't generate money for BSG and that kinda cuts the idea dry right there. While I'm not on the side of giving BSG more money, obviously they themselves want the moolah. Cosmetics is always a great answer. Really don't understand why they don't see that as a potential avenue. Appreciate the kind words, thank you for watching!
meh. arena is finally a functioning product thats fully released with decent mechanics and gameplay loops. but i still find it unfun. in theory it should make me happy. fast paced zero risk tarkov tdm or codification. i personally just cant have fun with it. decent editing. good video and good talking points. hated seeing a anime doode so often but i aint subbed so prob not worth knowing to you lol
honestly all good! I just wanted to talk about this topic and I'm really am not trippin' on the subs and whatnot. Glad you at least enjoyed even a little!
@@Senjo47 after playing the past few years atleast myself I also find this wipes tarkov very wierd and strange compared to any of the others in the past 4 years. It’s a cool time to be a new player. Prob the best time. Twas an enjoyable video and subject for sure. Gave it a like if I catch another video of yours I like I’ll hit the sub button. Pretty crazy to think how much tarkov has resisted change and changed all the same.
I know its unreasonable of me but i was willing to watch your video until i saw it was a VTuber. This type of shit is showing the deterioration of society that this is becoming the new form of media. Sorry.
im so over the dumb asf trend. seeing a anime chick with a deep voiced dude talking is so retarded. seeing an anime anything in SOOOOO much fucking media is annoying asf. shits like bots in the comments. you see it far far far far too much.
I ain't gonna hate you for having your own preferences! but I don't think me being a VTuber has anything to do with my opinion nor do I think I'm impacting society in a negative fashion by making a video on Tarkov lol
tarkov was meant to be pve coop and more and more people are realizing it. The simple fact that you get your gear back in insurance makes it great for noobs and folks who just want to have fun - you can run ya best gear with no real fear of losing it - that simple thing is a real game changer for most players and thinking that only people who arent "GOOD" at the game play pve is just sad lol
First off, the video was not about PvE. That being said, I don't hate PvE! It's really a 'to each their own' thing in my eyes. I don't personally play PvE, because it's not what I enjoy with Tarkov and realistically Tarkov has always been a PvPvE game anyways so I get my fair share in the main game either way. But I think saying "Tarkov was meant to be PvE" is a bit wrong. it would've come out as a PvE game from the get go if that was the case. I believe people's issues with PvP come from the same external problems every PvP online game suffers from. (cheaters, servers and whatnot) Tarkov's community reaction is only amplified towards the negative, because the nature of the game is risk/reward and people don't like losing in a game where losing is basically built into its gameplay loop. My personal take is that honestly, Tarkov is a punishing game first and foremost. If any given player isn't mentally prepared to lose in someway, then honestly Tarkov isn't the game for them. I also think like this because I don't believe Tarkov is a skillful game. I believe it's a game that allows freedom of play which is good, but being "good" at the game isn't a thing in my eyes, because to express your skill in a video game the playing field needs to be fair. and Tarkov at it's core mechanics is not a fair game. (some player spawns are just better, diversity in kits raid by raid, etc.)
@@cinchmccoy you might be referencing the moment at 14:28. I said "I think in general a majority of the people who are really good at the game are sticking to PvP and most of the people who aren't as good are sticking to PvE." This is not talking about people's general Tarkov skill. This is strictly relating to peoples PvP skill. If you play PvE, you aren't going to improve your PvP skill. Simple as that. "most people are just really good right now" - me saying this is true in relation to PvP, because people who are playing PvP are people who are acknowledging that they are playing PvP and as such are more than likely good at that part of Tarkov.
Skill issue, plain and simple. If you need insurance as your safety net to run your "best gear," it says a lot. Tarkov was never meant to be PvE co-op babysitting-it's about high-stakes risk, something you clearly can’t handle. Hiding behind PvE and insurance because you're too scared to lose your gear just proves you're not cut out for the real challenge. Sad, indeed.
i think the only part that is unfair is the price..but the arena money u get and having to level 3 while u have to play normal tarkov kinda literally makes u play for 10/20 hours q week and thats a lot and this is finally a way to people outside of tarkov finally enjoy it, specially bcz having a good gun, bullets and armor costing a lot of time just to die in a raid to a rat is pretty okay also kinda loved ur character :3c u should play balatro btw, u would love to see a review of u about that game
Thanks for liking my character! You don't have to play normal Tarkov to have a high level Ref! You could solely have Ref at level 3-4 without regular Tarkov. The only thing you would need to do is the quest to unlock him. Ratting is just a part of Tarkov. I personally don't have a problem with it, because the game is a game that allows for freedom of play. I think having the freedom of play is what makes Tarkov pretty unique. It sucks to say, but if people don't really like that then I don't think Tarkov is for them.
@@Senjo47 Lol only gotta do it once though for a title or credit animation sequence you plan to reuse, I wouldn't do it all the time for normal videos either 😭
How do you only have 993 subs? Your commentary is some of the best I've seen. Unlike Xqc who stares at another monitor with a different tab open while playing a game. Keep up the good work!
edit: this VOD has been cut in certain spots due to copyright claims related to the music, so if you are VOD enjoying and it randomly cuts sorry in advance!
count how many times i said "but it's like" in this video LMAO sorry for the lack of vocabulary, like I said in the video this was just a quick rant near the end of my stream and emotion was really powering me so I didn't have much brain juice left for eloquent speech
