This is a toy that is not that difficult to design. The only complex bit is voice recognition which I'm sure won't work well if at all. The game itself sounds really boring. Stay away from that kick starter.
That looks really stupid, and it sounds even worse. I'm no 'big city lawyer', but I'd be getting ready for bankruptcy, if I were financially connected to the game production.
Hmmmmm. I’m a bit torn. Kind of cool but also seems….kinda kitschy. The fortress feels gimmicky. Maybe I’m wrong and it’ll be truly innovative gameplay. It’s got potential but I’d love to see a bit more of the game itself.
Not a lot of point changes, mostly the new ships they dropped. I've been working on adding some Online game functionality and the points caught me by surprise. I hope to have the latest out soon.
I don't understand the netrun. 1. Do i just keep rolling until i either want to quit or I get burned? Or is it only one roll per netrun/turn? 2. Can I continue progress on the next netrun or do they always reset to start from scratch? The rulebook does not explain this.
Glad you’re giving a positive review, I picked this up at my FLGS when I stopped by to see if they’re getting Star Trek Star Realms. Don’t worry, I’ve changed my notifications to receive all notifications now!
Love it. How nostalgic. I’ve been watching you for a while now, and I recognize some of these things, like that LAAT. Even inspired me to do the same thing, and I just found something I haven’t seen in years that I’ve missed dearly and thought I had lost, left behind at some game store. Bless you, Sir Crabbok
Ah, the Indomitus Box. Great starter for 40k for sure. I know you’ve said before that if you got in to 40k proper you’d probably go Guard (the correct choice, though as a Death Korps player I may be biased) but if you like the look of the Stormcast Eternals and already have some Space Marines then I’d suggest looking at the Blade Guard models and Dark Angels Deathwing Terminators. They’ve got a similar vibe to the Stormcast.
