I already went there to go and visit seeing the Berthe Morisot exhibition show...; visited seeing it a few days back, actually. For anybody who is a keen fan of Impressionism...; then, it's certainly well worth seeing...her canvases uses swift strokes...that are bright in colour, and, employs plenty of 'light'. She produces very beautiful works...which is, therefore, certainly well worthwhile seeing. I should also like to add they show not just her own work, alone; but, also the works of those artists who did most deeply influence her...including work by Francois Boucher/Jean Honore Fragonard/-etc. The exhibition also informs one about her life/work/history...; it was very interesting to hear that she married Manet's brother. I saw there one truly exceptional work which was painted by Morisot's sister. Anyway, so far to date, I've only been to see the exhibition, once...; and, am absolutely sure to go again...possibly, multiple times...before it closes.
