We’re off to Richard’s holiday park in late October is it still bad or has it got better atall. Wish I’d RU-vidd Hemsby before we booked last night. Though it was either that or a Park Dean that recently burned down 😆
Hi there , if you come through Bungay and drive down the one way over the bridge to the river then turn immediately right , park up and walk through the gate .river is right there 👍🎣🐟
This photography was evidently taken at or near to the bottom of the tide. Unfortunately the previous land conservation works have clearly been unsuccessful because they were simply placed atop the sand with the predictable results we see in the film. I suggest that someone is going to be compelled into making some tough decisions about this problem viz to assess the probable future value of the land area against the cost of remedial engineering. This will be expensive because of the necessity for any seawall to be anchored to bedrock and the depth of same. I am writing from Eastern Australia where we are faced with similar problems. In the example of the Gold Coast of S.E. Queensland very expensive conservation works were and continue to be essential mostly because of the erosive effects of the tropical cyclones which continue to ravage our coastlines most summers. I wouldn't expect the Atlantic storms to be any kinder to your shoreline!
hi Karl, frequently fish this stretch and the big chub you saw at 34.50 is still there cruising in the same area, tried to tempt it with floating bread a few times but no luck so far!!
I split my channels now I’ll list them below for you as no fish goes on this one anyone 👍 Wfa sea fishing Wfa fresh water fishing Waterside workshop Why not come over and join the new channels , I put lots of videos out every week 👍
@@WFAEXPLOREWITHME the whole stretch before the mill pool area (other side of the houses all the way down ) is very limited, one or 2 big chub but further down you go the worse it gets , it’s a shame it used to be a lovely river to fish, still in decent condition just bare in regards to fish. The mill pool area is the best by far, some decent sized fish there . But the whole area isn’t what it used to be , some blame otters or pollution but it’s so poor nowadays.
@@WFAEXPLOREWITHME yes exactly that, I was always told there wasn’t any fish in that stretch apart from the mill pool but I’ve seen a couple good size chub further down, just takes a moment to sit and watch . Every stretch holds some kind of fish I’d have thought
What a nasty "Jobsworth" Herbert Woods should at least train him how to talk to people or at best sack him. The use of the word "Sir" in this context is typically passive aggressive! I bet he was a bully at school.
This brings back memories I used to go on these roads when I lived in Norfolk. When my Uncle and Aunt lived in Waxham they had to be rescued from the top floor window of the house when the sea broke through in 1953
Great video of the extra sea defence they are putting at Cromer. It’s a shame they can’t do it down Hemsby and the rest of the eroding shore line. Nice update can’t wait to see the next one 👏👏👏👍
any house that I had there would already be carefully dismantled, - ready to be re-used at my new place... I would temporarily use my site as a camping / car parking place ...even install a fully unlicensed boozer so as to drown our sorrows.....
I could be in the market in Woodbridge for a residential boat or narrowboat. I’m not sure if I’d go for a my own boat or rented. But, are there any boats to RENT here?
Hi there yes it’s a nice place for a pleasant day catching a few fish , my fishing video are not on this channel anymore I’ll put below the channel names for them name if you would like to check them out . I’m still fishing every week. Wfa sea fishing Wfa fresh water fishing Waterside workshop There my other channels 👍
My Nan and Grandad retired to Hemsby in the early 80s. So many fabulous memories of holidays there. My partner and I have stayed in Yarmouth and love Beach Road. It’s so sad to see Hemsby like this now. It’s almost as if it’s been neglected. Here’s hoping something will be done to help save it.😩❤🙏
Hey there , there lots of places tucked away all over Norfolk . My fishing is not put on the channel anymore it’s on these two below ⬇️. Wfa sea fishing Wfa fresh water fishing
