Love how in the 2nd chorus there’s one camera that starts off on Mark’s right side and as the chorus progresses the camera slowly makes its way around to his left side, with shots of the other band members being added in here and there. I hope Whoever made that call got a nice paycheck out of it.
After reading several comments I totally agree this was the best Lineup!! Fred and Adams voices just fit together perfectly.. "Where You Want To Be" is and will always be my favorite album!! Now that Eddie is no longer in the band how freaking awesome would it be if Fred got back in!! Fred, Adam, and John singing 3 part Harmonies and 3 way vocal parts...
@@orchidmalevolence9726 funny you mention that.. just last night I was listening to their first little EP Demo, before Adam was singing and still playing Bass.. You can definitely hear Eddie playing his signature style of Riffs and progression. You're right it's never going to be the same. Which really blows!!
It was DEFINITELY the chemistry that Fred Mascherino brought to Eddie and Adam that made this band blow up. I'm sad Eddie left but Fred leaving was the worst thing that could have ever happened. He is the best singer out of the 3 guitarists they've had and he wrote a huge portion of everything on their best 2 albums
Eddie is the riff master they wouldn’t be shit without him. Fred, Matt, and Eddie had the best musical chemistry. But Eddie really shined when Fred was around.
Fred was the riff master. He incorporated classic riffs in TBS songs from his previous band Breaking Pangaea like the opening riff in Little Devotional. You can really hear the signature TBS sound & style of riffs in his post projects The Color Fred & Terrible Things.
In 2008 I had a computer connected to my music centre (3xCD, two cassette decks, radio, it's been almost twenty years and it still works top :)) via a wire that my friend had made me - and I recorded Louder Now, having not heard the band before. Somehow, I almost never listened to it ever since - until now that I've dug out the cassette! "Fuck me, I like this!", - I thought :)
@@BrokenGodEnt This incarnation of the band turned them and this album into a forever band. Every song from Louder Now is a timeless piece of music because of what Matt and Fred brought to the band. Nolan doesn't hold a candle to Fred. Just look at the new versions of these songs, they can't even do them justice. Fred did the old tracks proud and brought in a fresh feel. You don't see them wearing suits anymore, which was a fuckin killer touch for a band like this. It turned them from a scene band into a serious band that hit global success and reached more people than people who only liked the punk genre.
