Sometimes, whe practicing on the balance board, you can lift your back leg off the ground and extend the knee. This allows you to rest your chest on your front leg (thigh), which is a closer representation of what your tuck could look like when racing. Also, This helps strengthen the front leg(adding more weight). Which will help both the fast twitch and endurance of the muscles. Either way balance boards are fun
this how i work at standup desk 7-10hrs per day...i use Bosu ball & a longboard deck ( 40" marble Zenit) on 3liter bottle sealed. Its a great way to build ankle & thigh strength & absolutely improves your tuck & stamina in tuck for longer runs.
(fwiw, I'd meant to include that for every 1 hour spent on standup balance board or upon the workout ball , intake 15min on nearby inversion table to ensure no blood circulation is hanging around low parts due to gravity & stretches spine)
What deck did you do most of your testing with? How wide is it? About to pull the trigger on a set of the Zealous trucks and am just wondering about rail match etc
These are my Valk MK3s 160-170mm width 45/35 split I finally got dialed in. I was using Venom kegs for bushings but just recently got Riptide bushings they feel great!!
@@RideFlyLongboards I've had it for a while now I'm currently at 3,410 miles. I love everything about it! I mostly use AT wheels because of where I live but after all those miles it's a board built to last💪 And I don't baby it, It has been through a lot and it's still giving more 👍
