@@Travizeno92 I love that part as well! Sounds like the whole song is melting before kicking right back in. Although not sure it was a mistake, John plays the same part in the other take of "I've Got A Feeling" in the Rooftop Concert!
Thanks Mattiboo. I have that guitar and play Beatles everyday, any tips or pointers? You sure nail every song you play. I really like what you do and study your videos to better my Beatles playing. What you do is amazing. Thanks for making the videos. 🙏
Georges parts for this song are soo awesome, even this early they showing that they were moving music into an entirely different direction, they were geniuses, The chord progressions, The vocal harmonies, this one of my favorite early Beatles tunes!
i'm thinking that even though John is playing the riff, McCartney initially came up with it, you see in the Get Back movie John and Paul merged their song snippets. And you see Paul aggravating George telling him how to play the big guitar string descending bend. Plus this is a huge staple in McCartney concerts which reinforces his big contribution to this song which btw I love and is underappreciated
The lyrics make me miss my late girlfriend being gone 38 years. 😢 I had dreams to do things with her. Bittersweet song in it's entirety. Those 4 from Liverpool really put together music we can all relate to.....most of it centered around LOVE.
My uncle was a bassist and me a guitarist. He used to have a yearly bash where his old band would reunite and play. He would have me join them onstage for a handful of songs. One year we had planned on this tune but unfortunately he was diagnosed with cancer and passed only a few short weeks later. I never got to play this song with him. So now my band plays this song in his honor.
I have a Gretsch Guitar and I tried many things to come as close as possible to the beatles songs. And one of them ís ''Tell Me Why''. It sounded like the original. I would say John played his Rick and George played his Gretsch.
