SOKI LONDON is the online persona of brand founder, Sophie King. Sophie’s fascination with the world of fragrance began when she would eagerly await her dad's return from overseas trips, often surprising her with a new perfume. After university, Sophie worked in an independent perfume shop where she started to understand the complexity of fragrance. After university she worked as a management consultant for ten years. Searching for a creative outlet, Sophie launched her RU-vid perfume channel in 2015 to simplify the world of fragrance and share product reviews. She has since amassed a following of fellow fragrance lovers which has given her the confidence to create her first fragrance.

I found out about This is Her when I started wearing its Zara dupe "Fields at nightfall" (without knowing it really). People were asking me if I was wearing This is Her 😅 so, when the zara dupe was up, I decided to give it a go with the og, and bought it a couple of weeks ago. To be frank, I adore the scent but I'm disappointed with both longevity and projection. I don't know what the problem is. Maybe because it's summer? Maybe it doesn't fit on my skin? I'd like some insight 🥹😊
My mums best friend wore Opium as her signature, so I associate it with her and tipsy kisses on the cheek, smell of lipstick, face powder, cigarettes and G&Ts. When I smell Opium I get all that 😂 I mean I saw her tipsy only a handful of times but evidently my brain as a child stored that cause when I smelt it in store ALL that came up
I love Black Opium Le Parfum. It is a vanilla bomb in the best possible way. The floral note also makes it intoxicating for me. A true love. I'd love to try Mon Paris.
Hi. My favourite discontinued one is YSL Parisienne. I sadly gifted my backup bottle. My currant favourites are Libre and Black Opium Intense. I also gifted Manifesto and Black Opium which are enjoyed by my friend and family.

Great video Soki, my friend had the original opium back in the 80s, one night we were going out and she left the lid off the perfume, perhaps it was a dab on, she could not get rid of the smell in her bedroom for about a week 😅, even with the windows open, it was strong stuff!
I am not sure what's going on..I smelled the perfume on someone few days ago and I went crazy over it..the whole night I smelled it all over that bar. The lady said she sprayed a tester on her. I tried it and indeed was warm and extremely durable. I immediately bought it. Today I received Pear Inc and I smell nothing..I find it extremely weak and absolutely not durable (all other smells I'm smelling are just fine). It seems like a complete different perfume to what I smelled on that lady and what you describe. The perfume I got is not a fake as I bought it on a well known site :( I'm so disappointed
Love Play for Her Intense.. haven’t sampled all the L’interdit line, but I love the Rouge. I’ve got a sample of Irresistible Very Floral which is actually nice! Got a decant of Le Secret on the way and looking forward to trying it.
