OMGosh this is brilliant. I love lots of Italian designers and can’t spend so much. You have absolutely inspired me! I also love your Pink Fluffy Jumper. Is that pattern/texture created using ‘tuck’ stitches? I have the book, Dimensional Tuck Knitting by Tracy Purtscher and it looks like the same style of knitting. Something I’m ‘working up to as I’ve only been knitting for 4 years now. Anyway I love your videos they definitely inspire me.
Thank you for your message. The pink fluffly jumper was a couple of years ago and I had to go back to the pattern. They're actually cable stitches strategically placed, and they do look a bit like tuck stitches. I don't have the Dimensional Tuck book but I would like to get it some day.
Bravo. It’s so good, loved the adventure you went on and the info about the decreases and how the Japanese patterns write it…. chefs kiss!! Those sleeves are so cute. Thanks for sharing, Karen ❤
This tee looks so gorgeous on you, Clare. I really appreciate seeing your trial and error, and ripping back to achieve your desired result. I think good problem solving skills are one of the most valuable skills for a knitter. Beautiful work! The favourite sweater you used as a prototype for measurements is also stunning. Thanks so much for making these vlogs and sharing them. You truly are an inspiration 💐

The neckline in your classic striped jumper is so lovely. Could you please give a tutorial on how you accomplish such a beautiful join between the twisted ribbing and the body of the sweater? Thank You ❤
Are you sure that you can’t follow the tracking from Wooly Yarn. I just ordered some yarn from them and the tracking seems fine. My order is just leaving Latvia and once it gets to Canada I should be able to continue tracking through Canada Post. (I am using the tracking number that they sent me in their confirmation email.)
I loved to see both you and your mother knitting together 😍 I'm glad I came across your knitting channel, thanks to Youtbe recommendations. I love this format (I also do kind of the same on my channel) that dives deep into the knitting process of a project ! Thank you for this video 🤩
Oh my goodness, what a beautiful dress! You knit so well and I appreciate that you took me along with you . Also, I really enjoyed looking at the different sweaters that you wore during the making of this podcast. I am now a subscriber. Thank you!
Добрий день!Випадково побачила Ваш канал !Я в захваті!Дуже гарні та вишукані речі особливо плаття.Вам дуже личить!Дякую що поділилися вашими роботами.Натхнення вам!❤❤❤
Wow lovely jumper I used to love knitting with my mum you re so blessed but sadly I lost mum 32 years ago yest she was 68 and I was 38 am now 70 a lonely knitter😪
Oooh i love how the caramel sweater turned out!! It looks so cozy and the lace is beautiful. I love that it's a little bit short as it makes it more, hmm. Proportional? I feel like if it were longer it'd look a bit weird given the neckline. Absolutely stellar work! I want to knit it myself now… I wonder if there's a round neck version. OMG I just saw your son's review "kinda itchy", hahaha! The cumulus jumper is beautiful as well. I've been eyeing those yarns with sequins and been skeptical about them but whoah, seeing it knit up and the shimmer it has? I have a mighty need now! I also love that your mum helps you with projects. I've asked mine to help me knit the boring stockinette bits but she's adamant that you'll see the tension difference 😔 Thank you so much for sharing Clare (-:
For every 1/2 stitch you have more of in your swatch than the garment, compounds, giving a totally incorrect gauge calculation. Never heard of Scanlan Theodore, as an Aussie. Looking on their website. I would not pay $500 for an acrylic/wool/polymide blend jumper -outragous!
Welcome! I'm still learning the freehand knitting, it's definitely fun. I have another one on the needles at the moment, which I will share in the coming weeks.
Your video popped on my home page and it was so interesting to me that there's designer with surname from my country that I've never heard of, and omg, her designs are beautiful! I've added some of them to my ravelry favourites, they're a bit too ambitious for me now but they're too pretty to forget about. I don't know why I've never seen her designs before, she should be way more popular. And your knits from those designs are so pretty, you have good eye for colour! I think this black cardigan looks very romantic goth, so elegant.
Oh Clare your dress is beautiful and looks so lovely on you! I bet the sparkles are extra nice in person. Years ago I used to hate purling so I taught myself to knit backwards too! lol I don’t do it much anymore but I’m glad I have that skill. lol Blessings
I am learning so much from the challenges you face, and how you resolve them. Your knitted garments are all really beautiful. The dress in this vlog is stunning. It has a hint of the 1920s about it: my favourite fashion era. Thank you for sharing your journey. 🥰
