What is the following codes for on rod bearings? C807U/N above that it has JA STD and then XPN racing. Cant find any rod bearings that have that exact number set...?
Koury, C807U is the upper shell of the CR 807XPN set. C807L is the lower shell of same set. JA is series production indicator. STD is Standard size. N stands for Narrow version.
I wish king would still offer the race series bearings for the 4g63t 6 bolt engines, they were a good product and a lot of dsmers still race the older 6 bolt engines in the 2g dsms and gvr4 cars at the shootout every year.
Hi Mitsubishi Kid, thanks for commenting. the CR4120XPC (polymer coated version) is actually being sold and in stock, and the MB5209XP available through distributors worldwide, and is being produced according to demand. they are very much active products in our Portfolio. Hope you can get your hands on the sets you need.
@@KingBearings I pre-ordered the pmax-black bearings and they are backorder almost everywhere i looked online, unless we get the oversized ones, i think last i checked they only had .25 available, I pre-ordered a few standard and 0.1 oil clearence sets for myself just in case you revive the 6 bolt line, but I am sure other 6 bolt engine builder's and race shops would love to see more 6 bolt 4g63 support again.
Nice. I have a v6 3.3L VG33E Nissan motor with a worn crank and it started causing knock about 160,000 miles. Bearing material confirmed in oil. I have had the motor removed and a used one put in. I want to remove the crank from the motor that's sitting in a tire, with the crank exposed and facing upward. I want to hand sand the crank and reinstall. Do you have or know of any basic guidance to do this? I've never done this before. Thanks.
Looks good. I run king bearings in my builds. So far no issues. Hopefully I don't regret putting them in my euro build.. first time using them in anything not Japanese or American
I like the HP bearings, but used the XP rod bearings once in my dragster engine. Never a bearing problem before, this time spun two rod bearings, destroyed the bottom end of the engine...Another racer friend of mine was running the XP series mains in his stuff. Same deal, kept spinning mains and killing cranks and blocks. Finally Callies asked to see one of the cranks and bearings. They determined that the bearings were delaminating and grabbing the crank, then spinning....Both he and I have since changed bearings and have had no other issues. Not sure why the XP failed, but they did. The HP series seem to do well though
Can somebody please sell me if I can change the lower thrust bearings on a 2007 Kia Sedona with a V6 without taking out the engine yes or no please thank you
