Did you purchase the 33' rear camera extension cable? Isn't the rear cable the unit comes with 20' long? I'm trying to decide if I need to buy an extension cable when I place my order. My truck is not quite as long as yours but I have an ARE camper topper on my bed and I'm wanting to mount the rear camera in the inside at the top of the rear glass on the topper. Nice video and great looking OBS Ford.
Thank you!! I did purchase the 33’; with the crew cab and 6’7” bed I was short with the way I wanted to route it all. Better safe than sorry when pulling the cable! If you purchase, be sure to use my discount code, you’ll save some $$ MO_Bronco
Yep, I do the same thing after we talked about it. It’s still slightly tougher than I’d like but it’s definitely manageable once you get the hang of it
I'll add the the top can take a beating as well. I have this tent on my bronco and it gets hit by branches a lot. The material stands up to rain very well, I had a entire weekend of solid rain and wind and it didn't leak at all. Great Tent no doubt. For the net, I went to Home depot and bought larger s clips and replaced the little clips and it tightened up the net some.
Great review! We do sell liners for the new grease traps on our website and at The Home Depot. Can’t wait to hear what you think after cooking on your new griddle 👍🏻
Love the way that fit, i just wish the color matched a bit better. I have tan interior on my truck, but those seat covers look almost yellow compared to the medium mocha interior
To be honest, the camera doesn't do them any favors for coloration. They obviously are not the same color but it is by no means offensive. Had it at Overland of America and everyone who looked at it was extremely complimentary of them, literally no one believed they were slip on covers.
what are the mattress dimensions? and how much room is there for pillows/blankets/inflatable foam pads etc and still be able to close it? Sounds like closing it is the tricky part.
Mattress is 52x83ish; I store bedding and pillows in mine 24/7 and there’s plenty of room. I don’t think I run into issues with the space necessarily inside when closing just trying to get it done solo is tough!
Hey buddy thanks for the naturnest omicron walk through. I’m about to buy a naturenest tent and can’t decide between the wedge or the omicron. Question-1: space is important to me. I’ve got to be able to comfortably sleep two people. How’s the side to side space in that thing? Question-2: can you pack it down and leave in your bedding and pillows? Side note: I grew up 45min from Jay.
I would HIGHLY recommend this model vs the wedge style. My dad and I spent 3 nights in this tent together and neither of us had any issue at all with space, in fact we didn’t touch each other at all through the night. We’re both 6’ and roughly 185, we each slept with our head facing the opposite direction. This is the big draw to a straight pop up tent like this vs a wedge. I have my pillows and blankets in the tent full time along with ladder and shoe bags, there’s a lot of space for sleeping gear. I actually pack my clothes in the tent prior to a trip as well
@@mo_bronco thank you! Exactly what I wanted to know. Last question: As you know in OK and you in MO, we get some gnarly storms that brew up with high winds. Have you been in it through any of our kind of storms? How does it handle the wind? I go to Roaring River for overnighters pretty frequently and we’ve had some big ones come through over the years. Thx again.
@dougmcfarlin294 my son and I actually spent a night in this with hail and tornado warnings, tent did awesome! There is some small sways but it’s really solid overall! Check out some of my other vids on the tent, I have one on that night we did!
@@mo_broncoI found your other video regarding storms after I sent my question. Thx. I’m sold. Really like the relaxed nature of your vids. Maybe see you at RR sometime. I’ve been a ground tent guy my whole life and was AGAINST RTT’s as too expensive to be worth it. Borrowed a friends smutty built RTT on my last trip to Colorado alpine loop 4wks ago and it was amazing.
@dougmcfarlin294 thanks man, really appreciate that! I try to be relatable and real lol. I too had been against them for a long time, had a smittybilt originally and if you were happy with that tent for a weekend you’ll be blown away with this one! It’s so much nicer overall
@@mo_bronco thanks for the reply!! I’m definitely interested in this kit, I like the idea of the TTB suspension. Maybe I can shoot a video of mine if I get it installed haha
This is a solo motorsports leaf delete. So it’s cut and turned Dana 50 beams, OEM coil buckets from 1/2T, radius arms and coils (skyjacker). Shocks up front are bilstein while in the rear are fox.
Did that thick foam mattress come with the tent? I’m still trying to decide if I want to go with this straight pop-up tent or a clam shell tent that seems easier/faster to set up and break down. 🤔 This one seems like it might be roomier than a clam shell tent? We have an 8 year old son that I think would love it! 🥰 Maybe you can do a breakdown/putting it away video sometime?? 🙏🏻
The mattress does come with the tent! Teardown is time consuming for sure and a bit difficult but the space is so much better than a clamshell. I’ll actually be testing a clamshell soon, we will see how that goes!
@@mo_bronco Awesome! Thank you for your reply and input! I will probably be going with this model. Just hoping that the abs plastic top can hold up in our hot Arizona sun! ☀️ 👀🤞🏻
@@mo_bronco i have been talking with the engineers & support for a while without any fixes. back on 2022, i have ordered 1 g900 which was incredible, no issue by night or day at all. it has been defective, so i had to return it. On 2023, i have ordered the newest g900 and we immediately seen that the screen itself is not bright as it was before. where driving by daylight, the camera will go so dark that you'll only see within 2 meters. I have tested many many software, newest rear camera, all that in vain. And i've seen someone who had the same issue and he uploaded it to youtube... even with all that, the engineers didnt care.... hope the g900 pro is better tho!
I had an 84 f350 crew cab dually from Texas. Always has seat covers, so the interior looked brand new. and it never seen snow. It turned heads everywhere i went.
Sweet old ford. Got a 95 I think ext cab3/4 ton. Power stroke. Dude hit a tree and mashed the bumper and grill and hood Got to get time to fix it but I picked it up for 1k couple years ago
