thank you so much, finally a simple tutorial of this module. everyone else demoing it never explain their patches and has way different gear and there is so many ways to use it that it's hard to follow along
Nice video. Can I switch projects saved on Hermod smoothly? Will not the pattern and sounds stopped? I wanna use Hermod on a long live set so 8 patterns saved on a project are not enough for me, so... thanks.
Typed in bitwig into Twitch, saw a 3 hour video of urs, enjoyed it, came over here llistened to this and thought it was very interesting the different sounds melded together. I am interested in getting into making music too, for almost 15 years now!!!! I hope I stop doing software stuff, gaming, and have another shot at playing with a DAW. I like Caustic (lol the mobile production tool) I used to use Reason and Live. I wanna get into BitWig b/c of the sound design part and modulation. Last time I tried to get into bitwig, I instead spent time figuring out how to crack the sw instead of just making music. >_< Now they have a 16 track license for only 80 bucks. I rather keep messing around on my poopy mobile DAW (its actually really neat, caustic 3.) But eitherway, Im here to say thanks for streaming on twitch and uploading to utube. Reeeeee
Glad to hear this @MuscleTeamOfficial. You can get 8-Track for free in many places to learn the basics. Try visiting futureplc.slgnt.eu/optiext/optiextension.dll?ID=PbkPkgSxBj%2BFMGgdXiv3p3XkDYyA4VDAQDD8nyVGK5Fb9BW5yyvaVqouW4EluGxydIioemaldZBNf64KbS and see if you can claim a code. Once you're comfortable with that and want to try advanced features like Grid, keep in mind that even though you can't save, you can still "Bounce Audio" from the master track to effectively record your performance. Good luck with your learning! It definitely is a challenge, but try it out!
Hi! Nice tutorial, very well structured and accessible! Quick question, you didn't put down any trigs but activated recording through rec1, right? Could I put down a trig or numerous trigs to trigger the recording/overdubbing? Thanks in advance!
This my 2nd maybe 3rd time watching your tutorial.... I knot the OT much better than I did when I started learning it. This now makes so much sense and I thank you for creating this "How To". I can't believe that I'm the first comment on this Vid....outstanding job!
Super nice Tutorial Was the first time i could follow an Octatrack tutorial on the first view ;) The text next to the pictures really helped, sometimes its hard to follow all button presses otherwise
you wanna dis a low-sub creator who's putting out info into the world, and you get to watch for free. ppl like you who're just critical of the music and add your negativity make me so mad.. there's other value to be had here, and music is completely subjective. DO BETTER YOURSELF THEN LOSER
I really really love this; those little swooshy lines that pop in and out are so fun and lively sounding and serve as a very interesting and welcome contrast to the lower synth parts. I'd buy an album of this for sure <3
Super cool! You should consider sitting on the floor in a blank white space - I can hear the wizard! I see you are into modular. Are you 'integrating' the TR-8s into your system? (individual-out processing, triggering your modular etc.) How compatible do they feel?
