I have a Camperdown Elm tree that is about 15yrs old and is beautiful when the leaves first come out. This week I have noticed the brown marks on the leaves. I scraped the back of the leaf in the brown area and found a tiny worm. I don't know how to deal with it as it is such a lovely tree but now it looks sad. This is not the first year this has happened. Here in Canada I know we are limited in what we can and cannot spray so what would you recommend? I so love this tree I want to save it . I noticed you are located in Peterboro which is only 45mins from where I live so you would know the zone etc I would truly appreciate any advise you could give me ,

If you prune a tree constantly on one side will the tree routes grow larger on the side that is pruned to help balance the tree? I have a beach tree that looks like it is doing this it may be 300 years old but due to poor pruning it has grown more under my house in recent years (last 30).

hello and thanks for the video, I am thinking about trimming a "nasty" tree on my front yard I call it nasty because of the amount of glue drops that this tree sprays on my car, house and front yard, it is just simply disgusting. I am not sure what is the name of this tree exactly I call it glue tree, do you have any suggestions about how to trim it down safely, I don't want to cut it completely because it gives out house some privacy but it is a nasty tree. thanks
