Looks like it is full of conflicts and targeted towards more affluent caravaners that want to feel like Famous Five running through fields but still want eggs Benedict on tap. It is neither a freedom camping of basic facilities nor a site with adequate facilities. It promises a country getaway but is rammed with people like a supermarket Carrara on a Saturday. Feels like the camping part is an add-on done as cheaply as possible (no where for your rubbish???) to make more cash both pitch fees and increase business in the cafe. The cafe is clearly a gold mine so they aren’t going to drop the affluent target for that, so that leads them to needing to raise the facilities quality. Bins would be a start.
Another excellent and cosy vlog! Only now I’m obsessed with getting a gelato - not easy as we live on Kangaroo Island! Oh well, we do have lots of wallabies in our front garden so can’t complain! Love you guys, keep them coming!

Great video guys and a great review 🐾for us personally we wouldn't entertain a site like that at that price. We love raw campsites with the great vibe and don't pay more than £25 per night🐾This campsite is not for us🐾love the vid and love to Dozer🐾

Think you guys were ripped off, but the food looked delicious but that sure was an expensive weekend for a farm field, the actual caravan facilities were terrible for the money, however we did enjoy the video especially knowing it was your bank balance that was being dipped, bye now.
Hey Robert, thanks for watching. You're right, our bank balance did get dipped lol, but we still had a nice time. The food was good but of course you pay for that, the camping was over priced for sure

1st rate review as usual, We just love your vlogs. We both think you will probably not return there so we guess it's not quite heaven. Yes, you had a nice weekend but add up the cost and..not great for value for money. Your tips on equipment are very good and we have acted on some of them by buying stuff. our small dog (a Maltese) has benefitted from a pawpaw's wrap following your equipment vlog . and we like the soft bag idea for clothing. I would agree that it is a beautiful site and location but I would say the adult only section was an after thought. We only use our on board facilities anyway regardless how good the amenities are so that toilet/shower block wouldn’t matter to us. But the lack of waste disposal would. The cost for you get on the main site is probably fair by today’s standards but for the adult section is outrageous.

Hi, I thought it was a thorough review. It looks like a lovely place to go, even if the price of the food is a bit steep, but you do not have to go there for food. You and Dozer looked like you had a great time. Thanks for uploading the video. I do enjoy watching your channel. 😊
We stayed they a few years ago on the old CL on the left as you turn past the shop. Querky it sure was and eventful, to many to mention 😂, that's further to go to empty the loo than we had, it sure could do with somewhere down by the loos there. Stay safe and happy travels

Hi Sarah Mac we the trailer tent group of camping and caravanning club used to go camping there, every August B H down by the lake, looking at your video which is great, it has changed a bit since i last went there. It is interesting to hear you say where the CDP is, we used to use a hatch behind to pond, do they still have fishing in the lake at the bottom of the ramp. How much are the pitch fees P.U.N. It was great to see the place again and you have done a fantastic job, for showing and explaining it all keep up the good wark paul skinner

Hi Mac and Sarah, great to see you guys and once again a brilliant and informative video. I love your style, it’s so professional and well edited giving us a well documented overall view of the site. Personally for us, once we get our campervan, I don’t think we would stay there given the costs and facilities, you have stayed at better and more competitively priced sights and would choose those. I agree with Sarah in that it seems a campsite of two halves albeit with stunning views and not forgetting the gelato stall, but the facilities either need upgrading or the price needs to come down. Well done guys and great to see Dozer enjoying himself, look forward very much to seeing you again soon. All the best.

Hi there both, thanks for another entertaining video, we love your channel and the three of you. However I feel you are being overly generous with the review of the campsite section. For £44 a night I would most certainly expect much more than they are offering. It feels that they are operating the business in two sections and the campsite side is sadly overpriced & lacking in decent facilities. You are both so very kind and positive - but sometimes what needs to be said just has to be said - facts 👍😂 Looking forward to your next video already and please give Doser a hug from us fellow dog lovers. This was a hard one for us to value, considering other things, but in hindsight, you're right, it is over priced for the offering to campers.
