“The old man used to say that the best part of hunting and fishing was the thinking about going and the talking about it after you got back.” - Robert Ruark
Treestand Man Outdoors is based in northwestern Vermont, I started this channel to share my passion for hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors.
Ever since I put my ladder stand up in a new spot where a swamp stops and 50 feet of Wooded land is. Each year on the first of bow, I have gotten a Deer. Then it is spoiled for any others! Deer will not travel through there after! Now you watch after saying this no deer will go by! Lol
Hopefully that’s not the case! There have been several groups of deer using it. I think once the corn is cut it will only get better. Once the corn is gone, it’s the only section of cover for deer to travel along. It should be a natural bottleneck, but we’ll see…Good luck this year!
Hey man! I moved to Brandon VT last year from NJ and am looking for hunting buddies. Would love to get together for waterfowl or woodcock/ grouse sometime if you are interested.
This is a funny vid as the bit of wood you are cutting is the same size . So there should really be no difference ..... try say a 18 inch diameter log with the 18inch bar and them say a 25inch diameter log with the 25inch bar and see how that goes ...as like I said with the same small size of wood there is no difference as the with the test you did chain speed same and same amount of teeth cutting.
This seems like a sure way to get spiked or pierced or sliced in your fingers. Not a way I would be going about preparing fillets. Great looking sized perch tho
You may want to check the connection to make sure it’s compatible, but I’m almost positive being that new that there’s a vessel view out there for you.
Well done. After you cut those ribs with the scissors, is there any bones left in the actual filets that need to be concerned of? or does cutting those ribs remove them all?
The only bones left are the spine and the thick part of the ribs. There are no tiny bones left by the time this process is completed, and the meat falls off the bones easily once cooked. Cheers!
