Thanks fr the explanation mate. I’m starting mine august ❤❤🎉just wanna get a ring light first before I start cuz I’m gunna go live both morning and night and I’ll be working on helping pple gain friends. ❤🎉thanks once again.
I had 2 real USA made Fenders over the years and they were great! I also own 2 MIM Martins that are unreal. I had a LP Gold top in the late 60's when I was gigging, and at that time never realized the value that guitar as it was the "norm". Just an everyday thing. But I think these Utube reviewers today are full of it. I Am relatively new to Utube and after believing some of these idiots I took some chances. I lost. These guys rely on income from their vids and so are careful not to demonize any maker. I am now educated and wary of these guys who make so many disclaimers it makes their reviews useless.
I bought a 2021 mex strat and have regretted it ever since. The neck is a disaster. I use the neck measuring tool and adjusted the truss accordingly. After installing the strings, the neck took on a bend as I tightened the tuners. Had to go back and tighten the truss a number of times; very frustrating. It has a string ping on the 1st and 2nd like a string buzz, but the height adjustment was right on. After finishing my set up, the 1st and 2nd string still rang. I changed the nut and carefully filed for proper height. I saw a video on this issue and apparently there is no cure. The guitar is garbage
My guitarist never used a tuner. I told him he should for our first gig. He refused to use it in rehearsal, and used it for the first time at the gig. Do I even need to say more? He didn't understand how it worked, went on stage with ot tined all wrong, tuned in a panic, broke his bottom string and then couldn't play anything properly. He came off stage saying "I think that went well". I told him it didn't go well, he got in a mood for months, and I quit.
What I don't like about my Gibson SG is that it says "Epiphone" on the headstock. Also the neck dive is real, but if you have the right strap that can be mitigated.
Being a Les Paul guy, the neck dive with the SG is real... Not that you can't get used to it if that is your main guitar and account for it, but every SG I have played definitely felt balanced differently and neck heavy. The more you move around the more the neck will dive as well as friction might be holding it up if you are perfectly still like he is this video. I have tried to get into SG's because they are so much lighter than Les Paul's, but this has definitely been a hang up for me.
Rob, I use the even simplier (and cheaper) Yeur version for home practice. Sticking one of the Joyo/Harley Benton American Sound pedal in front really opens up the sound.
Very good guy, the video would like to know if there is much difference between these tuners made in Taiwan or in the USA? Because I bought a kit and I don't know if it's taywan or street
scrolled through the comments purposely to see if there would be that ONE person that says "Oh you can do that with this other thing all you gotta do is" blah blah and blah, there was not one commenter so far, this was very well executed.
I can’t afford a Gibson SG so I bought a Harley Benton SG- the DC custom. What a guitar! It also has 24 frets and a split coil for the humbuckers. Absolutely love it. I do have a strat for any SRV itching I need to scratch, but the SG is far more ‘me.’
Ok, I have none of these items lol. I use studio one on pc. Have the audiobox interface. And I have android. I do have a Fender mustang gtx 100 amp as well. What all would I need to buy to make this work
Hmm, Windows on my computer isn't picking up any sound from my QAI 150. It definitely works with line out stuff but is the usb it comes with supposed to send audio to the PC or is it just for power?
NIce video @RobGalley. Very informative. I am looking forward to streaming live guitar with good audio quality. I spent months looking for a videos like these that could help. Until I stumble to this video of yours. One question, can I use RCA to stereo instead of the mono that was shown in your video? Your response would greatly be appreciated.
@@ianroimusic6061 yep, I since bought a stereo cable & its better, although check out my latest video for an even easier & better way to do this whole set up 💪
My Gibson SG's neck always goes out of wack. I've been all over RU-vid trying to find a solution. It doesn't help to live in a place where the average humidity is 10 to 25 percent, but, I've even tried putting the guitar in a hard case with the same kind of humidifier tube that I have in my acoustic guitar. Anyone have an idea?
Hi, I am a complete beginner when it comes to live streaming. I want to be able to lifestream with my professional original backing tracks. They were done in the studio and I want to sing along with those through a live stream on Lounges TV. I have a UR 44C audio interface, Andy condensing microphone I have a Mac and I have an iPhone 14. Can you please do a video showing how to use full backing tracks and vocals through the iPhone please. I’m really struggling and I have a date set for the 29th of August help🙈
One of the ones I have was fitted with a figured quarter sawn 1 piece maple neck and it plays like butter. I'm convinced the neck was a reject from an Eric Johnson strat.
@RobGalley this was a kool video to watch! I have almost the same guitar, I got it when I was 14. Mine is the same color, 1999 model but mine has a humbucker in the bridge instead of the single coil. The color name is "Midnight Blue" LOL its funny you mention at the end that some people think its purple. Its definitely a unique color and in certain lighting it does look purple but it is indeed blue lol
"It would be super boring if we all liked the same stuff." Yes! Amen to that! I'm not a Gibson guy. I love Fender, ESP, and Taylor guitars, but I want you to play whatever you like ON whatever you like! Just do you!
