Have you explored the open space we have behind the initial spawn in Overture? It looks like the whole play space from the previous missions that lead us to Overture.
Not sure exactly what you mean. Do you mean the area from most of the Shell mission? You'd have sparrows there, so could probably find a place to syncbox out or something. I haven't done that yet.
@@Froggy618157725 I’m probably a dummy for not knowing what you mean by “shell mission” lol. Next time you load into Overture, literally turn around and go up the steps you’re standing on and keep going, it KEEPS going , you’ll be surprised how much open unused area is back there lol. 👍🏽
Hello, Shippie here! And today I will be visiting the Froggy comment section, a truly fascinating place, full of wholesome guardians who wish to be a little naughty. Anyway that will about cover it for this set of analysis, and I'll catch ya next time!
6:56 I got stuck out here on my Hunter, I had someone join me so that I can leave the mission then rejoin them because I was at the actual end of the mission when this happened to me 😂
Me and a friend had to start over by going exploring the area from the Shell mission during a run. Turns out if you do that and then die later on you may very well respawn back in the jungle. And if you've already done the portals before the first boss you're kind of stuck
Always a delight to see a new video! I know there's a hole in the lab area I've been hoping to poke at and see if I can fit through now that I've finished the seal, and to do more exploring in the area from the Shell mission now you can get to it from Encore
now ive been doing glitches and out of bounds stuff for years, i never knew that you could test for being out of box via your ability to mantle, i will happily add that to my toolkit
You can easily see this in the Confluence in Dreaming City. When you initially go through the portals, you can't blink because the confluence hubs are out of box. It's pretty strange XD
@@Froggy618157725 you can cheese that. Have whisper player camp at the portal and jump through it when they get joining allies, once the player(s) ahead picks up the first vex augment in the first encounter area. A couple teleports later and congrats you're all starting from the first encounter w the full 35 minutes.
I don’t get this what’s an exclusion zone and why does setting the spawn point there spawn you above where you die, I’ve been trying to do this for like 30 minutes and I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong
@@xTrashPanda420 This one is a bit tricky as far as rez breaches go. I probably get it like 1 in 3, although most rez breaches you'll get 100% of the time with a good exclusion point. I have a more thorough description of it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-764jweof7G4.html (Death exclusion is gone though, so ignore that part) The short version is you can only set a spawn point every 9m. So when you set a spawn point, you exclude everything within a 9m sphere for the next spawn point. You can strategically set this up so you can't set a new spawn point until you're in position. The Helm is rough because the conditions to go through that ceiling are a bit tighter.
Hey froggy, I was doing some of the secret chests now that the missions been out for a min and found that you can backtrack to the Mission: Shell bossfight area if you get back to beginning area of Encore via the secret chest portal room. The radiolaria lake doesn’t damage players unless they jump into the vortexes in the corners, and the Infinite Forest type gateways react when shot but don’t seem otherwise active. Since all the collectibles and such seek to have been revealed, I doubt there’s anything to be found. But do you think it warrants a video of OOB back into Shell from Encore?
Hey Froggy, I was running Encore, with a friend, I went through to the workshop, and they stayed behind, died and respawned in a dark room, I recommend looking into it, because that's definitely not on purpose from Bungie
@@varisrevolver4061 Did they get killed by turnback? More details there would help. I definitely had a time that it sent me back to start unexpectedly.
i tried for several days to breach that tank. i eventually did but didnt know the ceiling access then. still looking for a way into several other strikes from patrol.
@@SSDragon19 Definitely one of my favorite activities. I think at this point I've done the possible ones? I don't have videos on all of em though. Some are definitely way harder.
If it helps, when I sing I am in fact a rather low bass. I also recorded this one a lot earlier in the day than I normally do, so that might make it sound different than usual.
6:30 - Guardian dies and makes death sound. Check. 6:33 - Guardian then hits ground too hard and makes injury sound . . . . . . AFTER they died. Make it make sense! LOL!
There's a much easier OOB you can do instead of hitting the lost sector and then rezzing in the Infantry concourse to then get back out again. You can OOB in the main public area and immediately work on getting into the rest of the PG strike.
The route is I normally do is a bit annoying on Hunter. This literally is just a bit of walking around, and then you're in, so hard to imagine an easier one unless you literally just jump above the land tank.
Awesome that you can still go there! I was watching your older vid when trying to, but was sad to notice the instakill barrier. Is there any other way inside (apart from blink breaching with Storm's Edge)? I wanted to try to go there on either my Titan or Warlock
Pretty sure there is. I dunno off hand though. I'd think a rez breach somewhere is most likely. I also have vague memories of someone maybe getting in closer to the top?
Was exploring this zone after TFS came out. There's a waaay easier way to get inside of the tank with any class. On top of the door that's technically closed, you can just crawl inside. Tried to find a load to get further after getting inside the tank but didn't succeed so gave up, I guess it was pretty close.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lQc9othYP2M.html is probably my most recent tutorial on it, but it's a bit out of date. You must swap in air, since you can't get rid of the count down if it's in progress, and it starts when you touch the ground. I find it's easiest to do the swap as you're pulling to the grapple point. Dunno how menu speeds are on console, but it's quite doable on PC. For hunter I use high jump cause it buys the most time. Grapple gives you your jump back, so you can grapple, swap guns, special reload, fire, jump, and then grapple to the new point. You need to give it a moment to place the point. If you try to grapple too soon the point won't be in place and you'll spend the grapple.
@@-Benja Default spawn manipulation. A class of glitches around controlling the default spawn. Usually fallback points, where you make the default spawn area entirely invalid, which often spawns you somewhere entirely different.
Wait Froggy uploaded a video ! I just wanted to make you know thanks to your tutorials, I’ve went in so many hidden places or interesting ones. Like D1 bunkers in cosmodromes ect… 😊 Thank you a million times
The waterfall secret is the whisper mission portal the image you see inside the portal we thought it was VoG but all along it was that area which is crazy that they planned that far into the future counting that the mission was first on IO so if you look through it you can see a resemblance of what you are seeing from the otherside
@@vskyzz-l-8002 At least it's retryable XD Slowly approaching along the wall generally does it. Higher framerate is probably better? But you don't need anything crazy.
Any idea if this works with multiple people? I tried it with a friend and it moved my res to end like in the video, but when he tried after me it just kept moving his spawn around that center platform. Any tips or ideas?
@@BluesMaClues Sounds like he set a lot of spawn points. If you set any you'll need to get rid of them with stasis crystals. Or just rejoin after the loadzone.
Hey, love the content! <3 Trying to replicate it with a friend but we can't get the respawn right, we respawn right outside the red cube field Is it fixed or maybe not possible with 2 players? or are we just doing something wrong?
@@cybernnal2984 So this relies on controlling your spawnpoints. Multiple people actually makes it easier, since you have more people to block spawns. With two people you can have someone leave and rejoin to clear their spawn history. In the video, I wiped to clear mine so I wouldn't need to first backtrack my spawn up to the mission start area. I'm guessing you skipped that step? Here's an overview of how respawns work for PvE. When you rez yourself, you'll respawn at your last set spawn point. The game will set a new one if you're at least 9m away from the last one, and have spent some minimum threshold of time on the ground in some suitable location. So if you respawn, then run 27m, you'll set three spawn points. If a spawn point isn't valid when the game tries to use it, it's kicked off the list, and you'll attempt to spawn at the previous one. You can't spawn in a place blocked by a guardian, sparrow, or stasis crystal. You can block respawn points until you have none left, at which point the game spawns you at the default. The default is a set of spawnpoints (usually 3 or 6) grouped in an area. If that region is blocked, you spawn at the fallback point. The fallback is unblockable. For this glitch, you need to respawn at the fallback point. That means you must have no usable spawnpoints, and the default spawn area must be covered. If you spawn more than 9m from the default, you need to place a crystal where you spawned and respawn to delete that spawn point. If you spawn within 9m of the default, you probably missed a section of the default spawn, and should adjust where you place stasis crystals.
@@Froggy618157725 Thank you so much for this explanation <3 Yeah i didn't understood how this all worked until now thanks! We did indeed wiped before restricted respawn and therefor weren't resetting spawn points as intended And crystal placement probably were a bit off We just retried and made it fairly quickly, again thank you for taking the time to explain! <3
