This channel is intended for an Adult Audience (ages 14 and up). Content includes adult diecast collectibles, restorations and customs. As I document my processes, I use power tools and chemicals which are not intended to be used by kids without Adult Supervision. I primarily collect old 1/64 scale Hot Wheels redlines, Matchbox Lesney and Johnny Lightning Toppers, but I do like all brands of diecast cars. I may not post videos very frequently, but I do plan to continue updating the channel with more diecast restorations and customizing videos as time permits :)

@@Blinco440 Yes, the Sharpie will run if a solvent based clear cote is sprayed over it. Always apply Sharpie after clearing. Or use a waterbased paint such as Createx instead, which is not affected by solvents
Do you think this method will work on new Hot Wheels Color Shifters? I have a plastic body Blvd Bruiser and I want to remove the color shifting paint and then repaint it.
I've never used it specifically on color shift paint, but I suggest scuffing the paint with 220-400 grit sandpaper before trying it. Sometimes there is a hard clear coat which can take longer to remove, scuffing helps break through this barrier. Good luck 👍
Had that same type toy with the western themed molds. Never quite got the plastique to melt well and rarely was able to completely fill the mold chamber. My cowboys and Indian figures all looked like double and quad amputees.
This is awesome! I may have been born in October of 1990, but I'm STILL fascinated by all this! About the different colored materials mixing together, while I understand that some people would prefer to have one perfect color, I believe that a lot of swirls and other shapes in the mixed materials would look really cool! If I were to get my hands on this, I would add 2 pieces of plastic. For example, 3 quarters of a blue plastic piece, and one quarter of a green plastic piece. Hopefully this would result in a blue car with dazzling green swirls and other cool shapes on the plastic molding. Sound good?
those wheels came out nice for originals. Do you know if the USA engine will fit in a hong kong casting? I had only had hong kong bugs as a kid, and i like the feel of the metal motor. It gives the bug some nice weight. Thats a really well done purple and that fender work... never would know unless you said something
I like the driver.. what a fun idea to ad. I have alot of original redline sidekicks and a few modern ones. I found one like yours that also had a metal base as well as the plastic based version, but for whatever reason sidekicks just go fast. That FTE swap is very nice. Alot of the racers don't use the FTEs but i think thats a better choice if you got corners or hills on your track. I think there is too many vids to scroll through on 3d Botmaker to see it race, unless you happen to have a more direct link then the one in the descripton.
@@DT99race Luck is a factor especially if on the original fat track like he used to run. But you still need a fast car to be in play. Was the car sent without return or do they return them. thanks for the replies of late....
@@gnrvintagediecastracing7978 Yes, I did get all my cars back. I wasn't expecting them but Adrial is a good dude. I started following him when his channel was small, so most of my entries were from a few years ago. The 'Blue Streak' was one of my fastest builds back in the day 😉
@@DT99race yes i was following him when his channel was under and over 1000 subs, I liked what he was doing thought his races were hokey which was the charm. He helped me get my channel started, that was just before "The Fear" I was queuing up to go and youtube brought in those new rules. After that, some big big channels died, quit or lost huge volumes of viewers, and his channel broke through and soon after, we still communicated, but i just didn't want to bug him as his channel became so friggin huge... He has maintained his roots with the early guys, I would not say i am one of those guys, more like i was the grass not the roots. But i do know anyone trying to start a new channel under those new rules , very hard to beat the algorythm. I was happy to get hte help from him, i had no idea how to do anything like open a channel, a total dinosauric newbie (old guy/non techie) and i just wanted to have some older cars racing on youtube. So i did that... and then, got busy again... but yeah, i see some of the old mainstays posting here from those years back like Guitarted and Broke. I liked his channel and his Rodger Dodgers... Is there a quick link to your blue streak in a race i can watch.. thanks...
@@gnrvintagediecastracing7978 I agree! I'm like the grass too, lol. I remember sending him cars for his early tournaments, now he obviously doesn't need them! I don't bug him either, but he does respond when I contact him 👍 I'm happy for him and his success, not many make it like he did. I started this channel many years ago, but just don't have the time to put out many videos these days. I primarily use Instagram as I can post daily and it doesn't take much time 😉
I came across the hot wheels factory about a year ago... of course i thought it was neat but didn't know enough about it. Thanks for showing it in action. I will probably never see another one in hindsight lol..
