I think it's wonderful for showing people how to play the song. And I agree with you in the video...I don't think Mr Lightfoot would mind at all! you showing people how to play the song. Considering Mr Lightfoot's contribution to helping bring attention to "The Mighty Fitz" and therefore helping to get safety rules installed for Great Lakes sailing, I think he'd be pleased!

@@JasonCareyGuitar Yes, I noticed that and had a look through some of your other videos and I’m excited to spend some time there. We’re all Knopfler nuts in our household (Newcastle - England) and I’ve spent so long without a pick to the detriment of my rhythm abilities…so I’m going back to the beginning in order to build a solid foundation. Every now and then, I stumble across a bit of gold on YT and clearly there are many nuggets to be found on your channel. Like you, we also appreciate Chris Stapleton and will check out his earlier stuff that you mentioned.

Now that you mentioned Knopfler, I could spend a little more time with him on the channel here. I enjoyed some musical study while in England for a semester. I did see a few football matches, which were life-changing! Also learned how to neck pints of Boddingtons and Newky Brown, and brew proper English tea. @@JasonCareyGuitar - yes, certainly interested in anything Knopfler related and the finger style chord series sounds very good. The Man’s Too Strong would be a good song for your channel - plectrum based but it sort of has a similar feel to some of the Stapleton songs I’ve heard recently and it would be great to see somebody like yourself give it a good analysis. Newcastle Brown Ale, or Nuclear Broon Ale, as it’s known locally, has its fair share of blame for some sorry states I’ve found myself in over the years…and Boddingtons, now there’s a creamy pint! Lovely stuff. Pleased you like the football…or soccer as you guys call it…sounds like you had a great visit.
