Meet Dave and Jacqueline from The Border Hookups!! Jacqueline is from Canada, and Dave was born and raised in the U.S. The acoustic duo quit their jobs in Minnesota and sold all of their possessions, at the start of the pandemic. They travel full time in their 29 foot fifth wheel while building their RV community through their music.
Their rig is equipped with solar panels for their frequent boondocking as they love to 'live off grid" as much as possible!
The Border Hookups spend their time playing FREE pop up concerts and RV rallies across the U.S. and Canada as well as other venues.
Jacqueline is also a certified Optavia coach. She helps people to lose weight and get healthy with her healthy living program, Hudson Health Coach.
Join them on their never ending quest for fun, freedom, adventure and good boondocking spots! See you out here!!
Funny - Jacquelyn really looked like our friend Roy at the end of your video! 🤪🤣 (Hi 👋🏻 ) Love staying at Cabela’s/Bass pros! Glad you were able to skirt the storms 💙
We may have an unplanned or even emergency event back at homebase I may have to blast out of the balloons. We just have to see what happens otherwise we will unfortunately miss Romp.
It is nothing related to health. It’s just a responsibility to our clients and business and thank you so much for my new body. My weight is staying down and I feel great. Hope to see you guys.🎉Thomyt
You don’t cover your eBikes while you are traveling down the road? We were told to keep the bikes covered so the electronics on it won’t get wet and ruin the unit.
We just got to Pensacola and apparently a hurricane may hit by the end of the week. We could be moving soon. And how does the metric system affect time? Are Jacqueline's minutes shorter than Dave's? 😊
Midwest storms are a PIA. We have stayed at the Owattona Cabela’s not bad for an overnight. We have also stayed at a HH in Albert Lee, it is a storage facility but not bad.
We are loving following you! We are currently full time sailboat cruisers now transitioning to “land yachting”. We transited the entire Erie Canal in 2023 on our boat. What a great experience. So wish we could join you for Romp It but timing won’t be right for us. Hope we meet you somewhere along the way. Still waiting to see and hear a video of you performing.
Wow!! That is cool stuff! Living on a boat would be an amazing experience. We too wish you could make it to Romp It. Next year! Please keep us posted on your travels. We will definitely see you out here!
Wow , I mean WOW you guys just literally skated right through Tornado Alley ! The patron saint of Nomads was riding with you ! As a full-time nomad off-grid guy. I can contest to how frightening it can be . Mother Nature is beautiful, but can also be cruel and unforgiving. This is the life we chose , I personally would never go back to a sticks and bricks. You crazy kids be safe out there & watch your six !
We were under tornado warnings when we were camping on the NH/VT border this past Spring. Had a grab bag by the camper door just in case. Man it was a long night, many ended up taking shelter in the laundry/shower house. Major flooding and roads washed out but we were fine. Not a fun way to spend a night that's for sure. You guys be safe out there.
Way to stay safe. Might want to stop answering doomsday Dan phone calls. I was a little disappointed after seeing the title you didn’t sing some REO Speedwagon.
