well in that regard he still leaves a lot to be desired as well. he has thus far demonstrated a poor work ethic, doesn't pay attention/goofs off at practice and in his own words came into the league expecting to be a day one starter and didnt understand the nuances of earning that spot. im willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but hes going to have to prove a lot of people wrong just to make thru camp, much less earn a spot in our rotation

I was watching tavon Austin highlights and the announcer and stuff kept calling the quarter back smith and then once he said geno was his first name and I was like no way so I doing out they played together and some of these clips are in austins highlights too
Had people saying Patton was going to get cut or was a bust, he's a great reciever, he has few mistakes but He's quick and has great hands and runs good routes I have always been a fan of Patton and believe he will be one of our best receivers for years to come!!
He's somewhat screwed up this preseason making some bad mistakes. He still made the team but he has a lot to prove. Ellington may take his spot at No.3. I still think he has potential.

@Phillip Ramos Lesean McCoy has been top 5 last 3 years with that same o line.... so what makes you think chip can't do the same with Murray lol Jus admit the fact that Cowboys are going to have a lot of off the field issues with Joseph Randle, Greg hardy and the list goes on
Also in college his senior year he had 24 td on 208 carries giving him a 11.5% chance to score a td when he touched the ball. In dallas last year he had 5% chance. Ill take it. 300 touches at 8% is 24 TD's.
Here is the way I see it going down. Randle will be the feature back prolly getting 55-65% of the runs...this will be around 300 touches. The you will have McFadden playing the role of Randle last year and remember....McFadden can pull up and pass the ball down field with pretty good accuracy so yet another weapon at your disposal give him the ball 125 times. Then you will have #3 decided between Mathews and Dunbar, another 150 carries between them. I predict Randle barring stupidity off the field which I dont think will happen....will get over 1500 yards on those 300 touches. 5+ yards per carry throughout the season.
