How powerful! Childlike Creativity is the best! We are all on a journey and vulnerability is humility! Thank you Lord!! I needed this word I've dealt with this perfectionist hiding for too long. Yet no longer will I be stuck in this cycle in Jesus name! God will see me thru he never fails. Great message! It was like a faucet of creative revelation! 🙌🙏

I have one too. Try to figure out how to play Adungu. Thx for showing the way. BTW, how do you tune those 9 strings? They don't hold the tune so well, any tips? Thx
It would depend on why it's going out of tune. Are the pegs well fit into the peg holes, or do they spin freely or are they unwinding over time? If so you could stuff the peg holes with some paper or paper towel to get better friction. If the pegs are fine and you suspect it's the strings themselves that are losing tuning, then you could replace them with nylon harp strings and be fine.
"The ruan is now most commonly used in Chinese opera and the Chinese orchestra, where it belongs to the plucked string (弹拨乐 or chordophone) section. " I smell plagerism -Wikipedia
Wow!!! I'm Romanian, but I didn't know this thing about Ceaușescu you shared. Holy Spirit told me to watch your videos and this one came up. I'm overwhelmed, as God's been speaking to me about the "sound of the Nations," without knowing you teach on this subject. Through an extraordinary set of circumstances, where I got connected with someone from Finland where you teach sometimes, I found out this is a concept you nailed. How God made this happen still blows my mind. He's been speaking to me a whole lot about sound, music, the power of our voice and anointed sound etc. This is beyond amazing!
How do you tune this! I found one at a thrift store and I want to learn how to play it! Thank you for sharing this video!! I had no idea what it was that I found but I knew it was special 🤗💕
I am a Ugandan, using the top tuner sticks(6 to 7 in number) you can tune it from the base tone to those with the highest pitch in assending order from the longest to the shortest string.
Lyn is truly inspired by God to create awe-inspiring paintings. To see it in person takes your breath away - you think it is one thing, then she takes a turn, and something else emerges. She is a gifted artist.
Oh wow Dan this is awesome! I just loved the story about your mandolin. I have the same passion as you. My name is Emmanuel Roque and I am from Dominican Republic. I'm a musician, songwriter and educator very engaged in my community in Corona, NY. Right now I'm collecting plucked strings musical instruments from all over the world. You can also see my videos and late post on my RU-vid Chanel. I would love to be in touch with you. Feel free to contact me if you want. Greetings from NYC
