@@swampthing4x4 when I first went in 2022, Tristan England (driver of megalodon then) was really trying to put on a show and he pulled a save in racing, crashed in skills and broke within 10 secs of freestyle and Randy brown (driver of grave digger) pulled a great save attempt in freestyle
Hi Tony Great video shame about the rain on Sunday its amazing how difference the weather changed from being sunny on Saturday to being rainy on Sunday but despite the bad ground condition with all the mud on Sunday you put on amazing performance and I look forward to seeing you all at Truckfest Newark 2024 lets hope we have better weather there.
Hi Tony I watch your shows on RU-vid a lot I am amazed how you and Georgina and Claire fix your truck and I watched Georgina do a driving show she did a very excellent job,,,, swamp thing is awesome and you guys rule I am looking forward to seeing the other shows how you clean the monster truck and l love everything of your shows ,,,,
Watching the jumps it seemed like swampy was tipping over more than usual. Wonder if that was just the shape of the stack of cars or something going on with the suspension?
The problem was we had a Audi estate car that was very strong at the back and on the first set of jumps all the cars behind it were very small nearly 5 foot shorter than it so it is really hard to land on all of the car after the first show. Off the first show I attacked the Audi with a forklift to make it more of a uniform shape and that made the jumps a lot better on the second date we were just struggling with the poor ground conditions so he was having trouble to accelerate up to the lead car.
Another great video, Swampy Team! Have you ever raced Swampy down the drag strip? Or is Santa Pod not wide enough? (I've seen videos of Monster Trucks drag racing in Las Vegas)
Not what every monster truck driver wants to experience at a show, but it’s unpredictable, swamp thing will be back stronger as he is in the best possible hands of mr Tony Dixon, my boy Alan is only 12 and he finds your workshop videos very interesting, but when we see you at Santa pod he forgets to mention it.
I was there when that happened and for some reason I was crying (I forgot why) and a swamp thing worker thought I was crying about the wheel and he told me about this video so I got early tickets 😂
This video is not only interesting and informative but truly shows your passion for the sport. The way you interact with your fans is amazing too. As good a care you give your truck it should keep crushing cars for many years to come! Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes. You've gained a new fan in the USA 🇺🇸👍
to answer the question of play-doh being in the US I can confirm it is still around I used to have it when I was younger and I know family members who have kids that play with it
Great video, it’s fascinating seeing how the epicyclic hubs work and all the ways they can fail! I reckon your small air horn was bleeding off most of the air…. Could you screw a MIG tip or an old carburettor jet in the inlet to balance them up or something? I’ve got some of the small ones knocking about somewhere, makes me want to fish ‘em out and connect them up 😂
