We are a group of enthusiastic local writers and readers with a shared passion for words written, spoken and sung. We have been organising our annual autumn festival since 2011, and now run year-round events.

Shoreham Wordfest is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registered charity number 1163258. The CIO Trustees are: Rosalind Turner, David Johnson, Tom Cutler, Siobhan O’Dowd and Janet Pressley.
David Olusoga has been exposed as a writer of apparently mischevious untruths and distortion. His greatest antagonist being the author Simon Webb, who has exposed much of his questionable accuracy and dubious objectives.
I would love to see and hear a debate on BBC with Simon and David , but the bbc would not like David to be humiliated by Simon, so this will never happen.
